Kim Kardashian may soon be the next Kardashian sister to star in a newlywed-style Keeping Up with the Kardashians spinoff, following in the footsteps of Khloe & Lamar.

Kardashian and her boyfriend of six months, New Jersey Nets star Kris Humphries, are engaged, People reported.

"I didn't expect this at all," the 30-year-old reality TV star told People of Humphries' proposal.

Humphries reportedly popped the question to Kardashian in her Beverly Hills home on May 18 after she entered her bedroom. He wrote out "WILL YOU MARRY ME?" in rose petals and was waiting for her on bended knee with a diamond ring in hand.

"I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now," Kardashian said.

The engagement ring is a 20.5-carat Lorraine Schwartz custom design with an emerald cut center stone flanked by two trapezoid diamonds and worth about two million dollars, according to TMZ.

Humphries said he wanted his engagement to the Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Kourtney and Kim Take New York star to be a very special well-planned event, as he asked Kardashian's mother Kris Jenner for assistance.

"I just knew I wanted it to be big," 26-year-old Humphries told People

With Jenner's help, Humphries reportedly planned a family celebration that took place later that evening following the proposal.

"Kris really didn't want a big celebration, but he had jokingly told my mom he'd be fine if there were mini-horses there," Kardashian said. "Later that night at the party, my mom brought out two mini-horses covered in glitter for us! It was hysterical!"

Last month, reports surfaced that Kardashian intended to move to New York City within six months to be closer to her now-fiance. The transition would also allow the reality TV star to film a second season of Kourtney and Kim Take New York with her sister Kourtney Kardashian.
