Kaitlyn Herman has a lot to confront and mull over now that she's out of the Big Brother house.

Kaitlyn, a 24-year-old life coach from Plainview, NY, who currently resides in Encino, CA, was entwined in her fair share of controversy this season.

Not only did Kaitlyn blindside an ally, "Swaggy C" Williams, and claim she connects with spirits, but she was also accused of manipulating and flirting with men in the house despite having a serious boyfriend back home. (Sam Bledsoe even called Kaitlyn's gameplay "cheap" and said she disrespected herself and others).

When asked how her boyfriend, Joe Pincus, probably feels about her touchy-feely behavior in the house -- which included lying in bed with Tyler Crispen and admitting she'd like to kiss him -- Kaitlyn told TV Guide, "I am honestly not sure."

"What I do know is that Joe knows who I am at my core. He knows I am an affectionate person but he also knows how deeply, deeply in love with him I am. Hopefully he was able to watch the show and understand my strategy," said Kaitlyn, who also seemed to have a crush on her "best friend" in the house, Faysal Shafaat.

Kaitlyn also predicted there would be critics and haters out there to deal with following her eviction during Thursday night's live episode.

"The fan reaction is probably very mixed. I can't even imagine the amount of people that don't understand me but I know at the same time there is a large group of people that totally get me and understand the decision I have made," Kaitlyn admitted.

On Sam's accusations, Kaitlyn told TV Guide she will "never understand" why Sam had decided "to make things so personal."

"That is one thing I will never be able to wrap my head around... I think Sam and I have very different opinions on the meaning of an empowered female," Kaitlyn explained after Sam alleged she got ahead in the game by asking for hugs, getting dolled up and batting her eyelashes.

But Sam, ironically, nominated two women for eviction under her Head of Household reign, and when it became time to name a replacement nominee, she put another strong woman, Angie "Rockstar" Lantry, on the chopping block.

"I think her actions were hypocritical, absolutely. But, they were hypocritical to my definition of an empowered woman and not to hers," Kaitlyn noted.

Sam was also shown making excuses for men in the house, according to TV Guide. When Rockstar reportedly pointed out that guys in the house flirt too, Sam brushed off the comment by saying, "Men can't help themselves."

Kaitlyn is therefore naturally annoyed men like Tyler and Faysal got away with such behavior in Sam's eyes.

"It is the perfect example of how guys get away with everything and girls can get away with nothing. Let's be clear... my strategy was for an all-girls alliance and for a girl to win the whole thing but I knew that creating close relationship with the men in the house would keep me safe if one of them was in power," Kaitlyn shared.

"Little to my surprise I actually ended up personally liking these people, these men, so joke's on me, but it was a part of my strategy all along."

In fact, Kaitlyn insisted she would have targeted both Tyler and Faysal had she stuck around in the Season 20 game a little longer.

"I didn't lie when I said I want a girl to win this. It is 2018. It is the year of the powerful female and the men just have to go," she said.

When looking back on her game as a whole, Kaitlyn admitted she regrets giving up on herself during the puzzle-making, battle-back competition following her eviction.

And are there any other moves Kaitlyn made that she wishes she had done differently?

"I would have not backdoored Swaggy," she said. "I would have trusted not one person in the house. And I would have voted to evict Sam the first week."

Kaitlyn was sent packing on Day 37 through a 9-1 vote in which JC Mounduix was the only player who voted to evict Rockstar instead. Kaitlyn told TV Guide of JC's decision, "[He] saw me in a very vulnerable moment and he did what his heart and his intuition told him to do."

She continued, "I am very proud of him for making the unpopular choice and listening to his intuition. I have nothing but love for JC."
