The 22-year-old reality star and 29-year-old former soccer player shared details from their wedding in an interview with People after marrying Nov. 5 in Siloam Springs, Ark.

"I told the girls I need the bridesmaids to enter behind me because I thought I would collapse when I saw him," Duggar, who wore a hand-beaded lace gown with a 13-foot train, told the magazine.

Duggar and Vuolo's kiss at the altar marked their very first kiss as a couple.

The reality star hails from a conservative Baptist family, known for the TLC series "19 Kids & Counting" and "Counting On," and entered into a formal courtship with Vuolo as a lead-up to marriage.

"I wasn't nervous at all," she said of the kiss. "I couldn't wait for it. It's like he couldn't say it soon enough."

Duggar and Vuolo tied the knot at the Cathedral of the Ozarks at John Brown University. The bride's parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, and 18 siblings were among the 1,000 guests in attendance.

"It was a dream come true," Vuolo said. "We've been counting down the hours until this day."

The wedding incorporated fall colors such as burnt orange, eggplant and olive. Guests snacked on pickled okra, cheese and crackers, and meatballs, and enjoyed slices of a vanilla cake covered in grapes and berries.

"The idea was to bring the outdoors in," event planner Christina Moore said. "Jinger really loves the fall landscape and colors."

Duggar and Vuolo said on their website after the wedding that they're "so thankful to God, our parents and our wonderful families and friends for celebrating this day with us."

The couple thanked fans for their support in a video from their honeymoon Thursday.
