Jill, 25, gave birth to a son, Samuel Scott Dillard, on Saturday, July 8.

"We are excited to finally announce the arrival of Samuel Scott Dillard," the family said on its official website.

"The newest addition to our family arrived on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 1:02PM. He weighs 9lb 10oz and is 22" long. After 40 hours of labor, he was delivered via C-section at the hospital. Thank you for your continued prayers and support!"

The Counting On star and Derick also have a two-year-old son Israel, who arrived in April 2015.

The couple announced they were expecting Baby No. 2 in December 2016 and then revealed the child's sex one month later.

"We are so excited to be expecting Dillard baby #2!" Jill and Derick, 27, told People at the time.

"Children really are a wonderful blessing from God. Having Israel has been such a delight to us that we know a second sweet baby will only continue to add joy to our family. We are thankful to God for this sweet child and we cannot wait to see her or him face to face!"

Jill told ABC during her second pregnancy that she and her husband want "as many kids as God will give" them.

"My parents have kept popping them out, so we'll see how [our] fertility is! We'll just see what God brings along and it's exciting," said Jill, who was the second daughter born to Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar and the fourth of 19 children overall.

The happy parents began dating in November 2013 and got engaged in April 2014. Jill and Derick tied the knot in June 2014.

Ironically, Jill's younger sister Jessa Duggar and husband Ben Seewald announced in August 2016 they were expecting their second child as well, a sibling for son Spurgeon.

The baby was born on February 6 and named Henry Wilberforce after a politician and philanthropist who was instrumental in putting an end to the slave trade.
