Earlier this week, Heidi Montag's personal website published a blog entry in which Montag took credit for spreading rumors that her former BFF and The Hills co-star Lauren "L.C." Conrad and former Laguna Beach star Jason Wahler made a sex tape together.  There's apparently just one problem -- Montag says she didn't post it.

"My website was hacked last night, so I'm not sure what was posted up," Montag told People during a Tuesday event at a Los Angeles Taco Bell in support of World Hunger Relief Week.

The October 16 posting -- titled "The Truth" -- stated, "Me and [fiance] Spencer [Pratt] did spread the false rumors about Lauren's sex tape," according to People.  Conrad, who insists there is no such tape, has previously alleged her much publicized ongoing tiff with Montag began when she and Pratt began spreading rumors about the alleged sex tape.

A Tuesday post on Montag's website explained to her fans what happened.

"Just wanted everyone to know that my blog got hacked last night and the hacker(s) posted up FAKE blog post about me admitting to spreading the rumors about the LC sex tape," reads the posting.

Pratt, who apparently has a pretty low opinion of his fiancee's Internet skills, told People he doesn't think his fiancee "would even know how to log in to her website."

"Right now they're trying to track down whose IP [address] it was," he told People.  "We got [24 television show character] Jack Bauer on it."

Conrad has previously stated she doesn't think she and Montag will be rekindling their friendship anytime soon, and Montag agrees.

"I mean, as far as right now, probably not," she told People.  "But time tells all, so we'll see."
