A&E has announced the premiere of the second season of Gene Simmons Family Jewels, a reality series that follows the legendary Kiss front-man and his unconventional family.  The series is scheduled to premiere with back-to-back half-hour episodes on Sunday, March 25 beginning at 9PM ET/PT.

A&E renewed Family Jewels for a second season in early January.  The series stars Simmons, who is well known for the tongue-wagging, face-painted demon persona he portrayed in Kiss, and Shannon Tweed, a former Playboy Playmate of the Year who has been happily UNmarried to Simmons for 23 years, as well as their two teenage children Nick and Sophie.

According to A&E, one of Family Jewels' second season highlights will be an "uncensored look" at the duel facelift operations of Simmons and Tweed, from pre-op to post-op.  The season will also cover Nick preparing to leave for college, Sophie turning into "a young lady," and Tweed's determination to have another baby.  The Simmons family will also travel to New York, Las Vegas, London, Paris and the tropical paradise of Turks & Caicos during the second season.

Leslie Greif, Adam Reed and Gene Simmons are executive producers for Family Jewels, and Adam Freeman is the series co-executive producer.  Family Jewels is produced by The Greif Company and the Gene Simmons Company. Robert Sharenow and Didi OHearn are the A&E executive producers.
