Part of the network's new January programming launch that will also see the fourth season return of American Idol on January 18, The Simple Life 3: Interns will follow the two "celebutantes" as they "go Greyhound" and travel around the northeast United States via the bus company's publicly available bus routes.

As in The Simple Life 2's Airstream trailer road trip, the month-long Greyhound bus tour will feature the girls visiting local families and "working" at a wide array of odd jobs. But unlike Simple Life 2, this time around the girls will not have a swanky home on wheels and will instead just be travelling around the northeast in a regular Greyhound bus that will also be ferrying "normal" members of the public that are travelling to the same destination.

"They'll be staying with different families for different lengths of time while they do a variety of jobs," a source close to the production told The New York Post back in October. According to the source, the jobs were to include "professional internships" and both white and blue collar positions in politics, finance, and the service industries.

As we reported at the time, the series began filming on Wednesday, October 27 in New York City and is believed to have wrapped last week. According to local media outlets, the girls' tasks reportedly included working at Lehigh Valley International Airport in Pennsylvania, a Delaware day care center, and staying with a Fallston, Delaware host family.
