Dancing with the Stars featured a double elimination in which The D'Amelio Show star Heidi D'Amelio and former Jersey Shore star Vinny Guadagnino were both sent packing on "90s Night"  during the Season 31 episode Monday night on Disney+.

Heidi and her professional partner Artem Chigvintsev were automatically eliminated after receiving the lowest combined total of judges' scores and viewer votes that were cast live throughout the two-hour episode.

Vinny and pro partner Koko Iwasaki were then ousted by Dancing with the Stars judges Len Goodman, Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli instead of the other bottom-three couple, TV star and model Trevor Donovan and pro partner Emma Slater.

Following Heidi and Artem's exit, Dancing with the Stars' judges were tasked with saving one of the other bottom-three couples and sending the other couple home. Len, as the head judge, would break a tie if necessary.

The judges unanimously voted to save Trevor and Emma, ousting Vinny and Koko from the Season 31 competition.

Prior to the elimination portion of the evening, each of the eight remaining celebrity and professional pairings danced in two rounds of competition: a 90s-inspired individual routine followed by the "Relay Dance Round."

For the relay, the eight couples were divided into four pairs and had to dance a specific dance style one after the other in a series of faceoffs. One of the four judges would then award five bonus points to the couple whom he or she thought performed the best in each relay.

Those bonus points would be added to each couple's initial score.

Two celebrities tied for first place on the judges' leaderboard with a total of 45 points after they both won their respective relay: TikTok and The D'Amelio Show star Charli D'Amelio and actor and Broadway star Wayne Brady.

Charli and pro partner Mark Ballas performed a tango to "Song 2" by Blur that received a perfect score of 40 points from the judges in the first round.

"If you were a painting, you are a Picasso. That was beyond anything I've ever witnessed on this dance floor as far as how much content you put into it," Carrie Ann gushed.

"You pushed yourself so hard and there was so much aggression and softness, and all the light and shade of a masterpiece!"

Charli and Mark also received five bonus points from Derek for their salsa against The Bachelorette star Gabby Windey and pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy in the relay round.

Wayne and pro partner Witney Carson danced a 40-point worthy salsa to "MotownPhilly" by Boyz II Men.

Bruno complimented Wayne's fluidity and partnership with Witney, calling him "the ultimate performer," and Carrie Ann said it was Wayne's best dance so far because he looked "so relaxed and so on it."

Wayne and Witney also earned five additional points from Bruno for their samba in the relay routine, when they faced off against Heidi and Artem.

Drag queen and former RuPaul's Drag Race contestant Shangela Wadley and pro partner Gleb Savchenko finished in third place on the judges' leaderboard with 42 total points.

Shangela and Gleb initially took the stage with a samba routine to "Spice Up Your Life" by Spice Girls, which received 37 points from the judges.

Carrie Ann called the performance "lit," and Derek exclaimed, "Listen Scary Spice, there was nothing scary about that performance!... But the footwork was still a little sloppy in places. But I'm not taking anything away from that incredible, amazing samba."

Shangela also received five bonus points from Len in the relay round for their cha cha, defeating CODA actor Daniel Durant and pro partner Britt Stewart.

Fourth place on the judges' leaderboard went to Gabby and Val, who performed a samba to Ricky Martin's "Livin' La Vida Loca" and received a perfect score of 40 points for it.

Val returned to the show after recovering from COVID-19.

Derek called the high-content dance "brilliant," noting how it "was like the best samba ever." And Bruno raved about how he felt like he had been "hit with sex bombs."

Two couples tied for fifth place on the leaderboard at 39 points: Daniel and Britt as well as Trevor and Emma.

Daniel and Britt performed a jazz routine that earned 39 points to "Enjoy the Silence" by Depeche Mode.

"That dance was not only educational and profound, it was so funky and this new Daniel came out and hit that routine! I am so proud of you, and it's an honor to watch you dance," Carrie Ann gushed.

The routine brought Derek to tears, and Len said Daniel never fails to amaze him.

As previously mentioned, however, Daniel and Britt lost the relay round to Shangela and Gleb.

Trevor and Emma only received 34 points for their salsa to "Barbie Girl" by Aqua, but they won the relay round and earned an additional five points onto their individual score.

Len said the couple's Barbie salsa was full of rhythm, tricks and clever choreography, but Derek noticed a few "awkward moments" during Trevor's dancing.

Trevor and Emma defeated Vinny and Koko in the relay round after both couples danced the samba.

Heidi and Artem placed seventh on the night's leaderboard with 35 points.

Heidi and Artem danced a contemporary routine to "Ironic" by Alanis Morissette that gave them the 35 points.

Bruno thought Heidi brought the passion, and Carrie Ann thanked her for being vulnerable. But Len admitted contemporary doesn't suit Heidi's personality because she's an outgoing woman and it was an introverted dance.

And finally, Vinny and Koko fell to the bottom of the judges' leaderboard -- once again -- after they performed a tango to "What Is Love?" by Haddaway.

The couple received only 29 points from the judges in Round 1, and they also lost their relay to Trevor and Emma.

Carrie Ann complimented Koko on a "fantastic job" with her choreography, and she praised Vinny for pushing himself in the tango. Carrie Ann, however, admitted a lot of work still needs to be done in terms of Vinny's technique.

Next week, Dancing with the Stars will feature the semifinals and another double elimination.
