Popular 1980s actor Steve Guttenberg and his professional partner Anna Trebunskaya were revealed to be the third couple eliminated from Dancing with the Stars' sixth season during last night's live results show broadcast on ABC.

Steve and Anna were booted from the competition based on a combination of the judges' scores from Monday night's performance episode and home viewer votes cast immediately following the broadcast.
"I'm just going to miss seeing everybody all week. I love everyone and I've had such a good time here," said the 49-year-old former Police Academy star after his ouster was revealed. "It's made me a better person. I got to dance with Anna, who's such a pro. The one thing I'd say is I have a wonderful family and friends, and I have a great life. I'm so lucky."
Steve and Anna performed a jive routine during Monday night's performance episode broadcast and the judges scored it a 21 out of 30 possible points.
While it wasn't wonderful, the score was an improvement from their first two sixth-season performances, when they received an 18 for their foxtrot and a 16 for their mambo. Steve was so nervous that he would once again be criticized by the judges that he donned goggles and an aluminum pot on his head prior to hearing the judges' remarks on Monday night.

"Oh Gutt! What are we going to do with you? I can't talk to you like that," said judge Carrie Ann Inaba. "Actually, that was your best dance so far... Completely determined. You set that pace -- you set that tone. It was sharp, it was snappy. Still could use a little more dynamics."
Fellow Dancing with the Stars' judge Len Goodman commented how the actor in Steve "came out" during the performance.
"You captured the flavor of the dance," said Len as Steve began to remove the goggles. "I watched your feet -- the footwork was fantastic. Again, I'm going to agree, a much improved performance."
During a video package that aired prior to his Monday night performance, Steve said he "barely had any time to rehearse with Anna this week." So instead, he practiced with her husband -- fellow Dancing with the Stars professional Jonathan Roberts, who was eliminated the previous week with his sixth-season celebrity partner Monica Seles.
"I'm really lucky that Anna and Jonathan are married and that she sent him here to save the day," said Steve. "I love dancing the tango with Jonathan. He's a great dancer -- a little hairier than Anna -- but I really enjoyed it."

While he performed the tango with Anna on Monday night, the three judges asked Steve and Jonathan to perform the encore routine during last night's results show broadcast. Jonathan described it as a "man-on-man tango."
Atop the Dancing with the Stars judges' leaderboard for the second week in a row were Olympic gold medalist figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi and her partner Mark Ballas. The couple scored a 27 out of 30 possible points for their tango -- the same score they received for their first two sixth-season performances.
Elvis' ex-wife Priscilla Presley and her partner Louis van Amstel continued to improve, receiving a 26 for their tango, which placed them slightly ahead of telenovela actor Christian de la Fuente and his partner Cheryl Burke, who received a 25 for their jive. They were followed by actress Shannon Elizabeth and her partner Derek Hough, who received a 24 for their jive.
After previously being near the top of the judges' leaderboard, NFL star Jason Taylor and his partner Edyta Sliwinska took a step backwards, receiving a 23 for their jive.
Tied with Steve and Anna with a 21 were radio personality Adam Carolla and his partner Julianne Hough with their tango; R&B singer Mario and his partner Karina Smirnoff with their tango; and Oscar-winning actress Marlee Matlin and her partner Fabian Sanchez with their jive.

At the bottom of the judges' leaderboard were Tony Award-winning actress Marissa Jaret Winokur and her partner Tony Dovolani, who received a 19 for their jive.
"I'm going to be tough on you. That was boring," commented Carrie Ann following Marissa and Tony's Monday night performance. "You are so much better than that Marissa."
"I was expecting it to be our best," said Marissa after receiving the judges' scores. "We worked so hard. I've not known a dance as well as I knew this dance, so I'm totally shocked."
Dancing with the Stars next sixth-season performance episode broadcast will air Monday, April 7 at 8PM ET/PT, in which each of the nine remaining couples will perform another routine.
On Tuesday night beginning at 9PM ET/PT, one couple will be eliminated based on a combination of the judges scores from Monday night and home viewer votes cast immediately following the broadcast.
