Celebrity Big Brother featured Kato Kaelin's eviction after Braxton Family Values star Tamar Braxton rose into power as the new Head of Household and nominated Kato and Tom Green for eviction.

Kato, an actor and former O.J. Simpson houseguest, was evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house through a unanimous 5-0 vote instead of Tom, a comedian who became Kato's closest friend and ally in the house.

"I was very surprised, very surprised. Tom thought it was going to be 5-0 [for him]," Kato revealed to Celebrity Big Brother host Julie Chen of his eviction, adding that he completely bonded with Tom during the show and would never have thrown him under the bus.

The Celebrity Big Brother broadcast began on Day 20, but then footage flashed back to Day 18 when actor and singer Joey Lawrence had been evicted from the house.

Although the vote to take Joey out was unanimous, the house was far from united, especially after a blowout fight between Kato and Tom and their former alliance members Natalie Eva Marie, a former WWE wrestler and Total Divas star, and Lolo Jones, an Olympic track and bobsled star.

Natalie, Lolo and Ricky Williams -- a former superstar NFL running back -- had apparently decided to switch their vote last minute from The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burress to Joey in order to vote with the house.

Since Tamar felt on the outside of Natalie and Lolo's apparent bond and Final 2 alliance, Natalie admitted her little group didn't have the numbers to take Kandi out.

Tamar wanted to make sure Natalie and Lolo kept their eyes on taking out Kato or Tom, not on Kandi or herself.

It then became time for the season's next Head of Household competition, dubbed "Picture Imperfect."

The houseguests were required to pick out a magazine cover with a mistake on it from a set of three magazine covers that featured the Celebrity Big Brother houseguests. The players went head-to-head two at a time, knocking out players until only one person remained.

The house wanted to split up Kato and Tom since they were a solid pair, so one of the women hoped to win HoH.

The competition ultimately came down to a battle between Tamar and Kato, and in the end, Tamar won it.

At the Nomination Ceremony, Tamar announced she had decided to nominate Kato and Tom for eviction because Kato was "a big, big threat in this game" and Tom was also a threat.

"It's not personal; it's a game," Tamar explained.

Tamar later told Kandi that either Kato or Tom had to go next, but then Kandi asked whom she would nominate if one of the men won the Power of Veto.

Tamar admitted she would name Lolo or Natalie the replacement nominee if necessary, and her choice would probably be Natalie because "she's a little bit smarter and she's a little bit hungrier."

The players were then asked to watch a performance by comedian Gallagher, which would be vital to the houseguests' success in the subsequent Power of Veto competition. Gallagher smashed face cream and watermelon, and the houseguests had to pay attention.

For the Power of Veto competition, Tamar as the HoH, Tom and Kato as the nominees, and the three randomly-selected players -- Lolo, Kandi, and Lindsay Lohan's mother Dina Lohan -- were required to answer true or false questions based on the previous Gallagher performance.

For every correct answer, a houseguest would receive one point. The person to earn the most points by the end of the competition would win the Power of Veto.

Lolo ended up winning the Power of Veto competition with seven points. Three houseguests received five points at the time of her victory.

Lolo had to use her time wisely given the Veto Meeting would commence within minutes of her big win.

She then announced at the Veto Meeting she had decided to keep the nominations the same and not use the PoV, leaving Kato and Tom on the chopping block heading into the season's next live eviction.

Prior to the live eviction, Julie Chen revealed the power introduced earlier in the game had expired. The publicist power had belonged to Tamar, but she never had to use it since she avoided being nominated for eviction in the last several episodes.

Tom had a feeling he was going home, but the house was targeting Kato since he seemed to be a bigger strategic and physical threat. In his final speech, Kato asked his fellow houseguests to go with their heart but remain loyal to their friends and allies.
