CBS has announced the 10 "iconic" Survivor episodes the network will air leading up to Season 50's premiere, which is set for Wednesday, February 25.

Dubbed the "Road to 50," viewers will be able to enjoy watching -- or in many cases, rewatching -- encore episodes that showcase a number of players from the Survivor 50 cast.

The special two-week programming event will begin on February 9 with an episode at 8PM ET/PT and conclude on Friday, February 20 with an episode at 8PM ET/PT on CBS.

Every encore episode will air at 8PM in the two-week span on CBS, but the episodes will vary in length from one hour to two hours.

And finally, the "Road to 50" will wrap on Friday, February 20 with Survivor 48: "Icarus Time" featuring Kyle Fraser, Kamilla Karthigesu and Joseph "Joe" Hunter. The episode will air from 8-9:30PM ET/PT on CBS.

CBS announced the majority of Survivor 50's cast of 24 returning "iconic" players in May 2025. Season 49 standouts Savannah Louie and Rizo Velovic were revealed after their season aired late last year.

Survivor 50, coined "In the Hands of the Fans," is a milestone season for the franchise, and the celebration began last year.

Fans were able to vote on key elements of the game in 2025, and a nationwide scavenger hunt for 50 hidden Immunity Idols across the United States, dubbed the "Survivor 50 Challenge," begins on January 30 with prizes at stake.

Survivor 50 will also feature some celebrity cameos.

"I'm over the moon excited about Survivor 50," Survivor host and executive producer Jeff Probst told Entertainment Weekly in December.

"As you can tell from the promo -- Survivor 50's got it all -- scale, history, unpredictability, jaw dropping moments, iconic players, emotional depth, crazy surprises, fan-driven chaos, and a sense that anything can and will happen and at any given moment."

Jeff predicted that Survivor 50 season will go down in the books as one of the best ever.

"It's not a question of if Survivor 50 will be great," Jeff noted. "The only question is where it will land in the ranking of greatest seasons of all time."
