Cassie Randolph received the last of The Bachelor star Colton Underwood's four roses heading into the women's round of hometown dates.

Cassie and Colton had an obvious connection during their first one-on-one date in Thailand, and they've appeared to grow closer ever since.

However, Cassie almost missed out on her shot at love with The Bachelor star when Kirpa Sudick and Tayshia Adams suggested Cassie was not ready to get engaged and had discussed the possibility of becoming the next The Bachelorette star with her pal Caelynn Miller-Keyes.

Colton almost gave Kirpa a rose instead of Cassie, but The Bachelor star followed his heart -- and his gut also told him to advance his romance with Cassie instead.

Cassie, Caelynn, Tayshia and Hannah Godwin will now be taking Colton home to meet their families when the next episode of The Bachelor airs on Monday, February 25 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.

- A true native Californian, Cassie grew up at the beach and is an avid surfer.

- Cassie is not a speech pathologist as ABC has presented her to be. She is currently a graduate student working to obtain a degree in speech pathology, which she will achieve in 2021.

- Cassie currently works as a speech-language pathology assistant. She is an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher at an adult school.

- The Bachelor bachelorette's 21-year-old sister Michelle Randolph is dating Gregg Sulkin, who was previously linked to actress Bella Thorne.

- Cassie graduated from Biola University in 2016 with a B.S. in Communication Sciences.

Biola University is one of America's most conservative private schools. Alcohol, drugs and sex are all off-limits at the evangelical Christian university, which was founded as Bible Institute of Los Angeles in 1908.
