Country music star Carrie Underwood appeared on Sunday's edition of "The Walking Dead" analysis program "Talking Dead" where she became the subject of a viewer poll.

Host Chris Hardwick asked fans to decide whether the singer-songwriter could survive the man-eating Mega Herd that killed several characters in the mid-Season 6 premiere.

"I know what you're thinking, but I was born to survive the zombie apocalypse. My husband bought me this zombie-survival kit for Christmas. I have a machete, I know how to use it," the Grammy winner emphasized. "My songs are quite aggressive at times. I'm not afraid. I would know what to do. I was born for this."

By the end of the survey, 37 percent of respondents said they thought Underwood would be able to dodge the undead hordes in this weekend's episode, while 63 percent said she likely wouldn't.

"I would! I would! You're wrong! Wrong!" she said, pointing to the television cameras.

Underwood also said she best related to Lauren Cohan's "Walking Dead" character Maggie.

"I love Maggie because I feel like we're both like farm girls. Grew up in the country. We know how to handle ourselves outdoors," she said. "But she's also got a softer side and she's smart."
