Caitlyn Jenner will be interviewed by Diane Sawyer for a second time in a new "20/20" special.

The episode will see Sawyer sit down with the 67-year-old reality star two years after Jenner came out as transgender on the ABC series, the network announced Wednesday.

The special will air Friday, April 21, at 10 p.m. ET, with David Sloan as executive producer and Mark Robertson as producer.

The broadcast will coincide with the release of Jenner's memoir, "The Secrets of My Life," on April 25.

Jenner confirmed she's transgender in a "20/20" interview with Sawyer in April 2015 after months of speculation. She said at the time that she first questioned her gender identity as a child.

"For all intents and purposes, I am a woman," the star said. "People look at me differently. They see this macho male, but this female side is part of me, it's who I am. I was not genetically born that way."

Jenner later unveiled her new look on the July 2015 cover of Vanity Fair, and documented her transition on the E! reality series "I Am Cait."

She called out Donald Trump in February after the president's administration rolled back on guidelines that gave transgender students the right to choose which restroom they use.

"This is a disaster," the star tweeted. "And you can still fix it. You made a promise to protect the LGBTQ community."
