Bravo has announced it has renewed Top Chef for a seventh season and is launching casting calls for the reality culinary competition's new edition.

While the network isn't confirming her participation yet, Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi doesn't appear to expect her newly-announced "medical miracle" pregnancy to prevent her from hosting the seventh season.

"During the course of filming Top Chef, I gain 15 lbs., so I'm used to needing two dress sizes," she told People in New York on Monday. "Now I'll just need three: my fat size, my skinny size and my super size."

Top Chef's renewal comes as little surprise given the show currently ranks as the top-rated series at the now Project Runway-less network.  Top Chef: Las Vegas -- the show's currently-airing sixth edition -- has averaged 3.26 million total viewers and 2.29 million viewers in the Adults 18-49 demographic since it premiered in late August.

Top Chef's seventh-season casting calls will begin on October 18 in San Francisco and continue through November 15 with additional stops in Miami, Chicago, Washington, New York, Dallas, and Los Angeles.
