Big Brother featured Brittany Hoopes and Terrance Higgins each winning a Power of Veto and Terrance replacing his initial nominee, Matthew Turner, with Kyle Capener on the chopping block heading into Thursday night's special double eviction.

Brittany, a 32-year-old hypnotherapist from Atlanta, GA who currently resides in Austin, TX, won the Power of Veto at "Big Brochella" and opted to keep nominations the same.

That means Monte Taylor, a 27-year-old personal trainer from Bear, DE, and Jasmine Davis, a 29-year-old entrepreneur from Terry, MS who currently resides in Atlanta, GA, are on the block under Michael Bruner's Head of Household reign.

The runner-up HoH, Terrance, a 47-year-old bus operator from Chicago, IL, won the Power of Veto at "Dyre Fest" and chose to name Kyle Capener the replacement nominee for Turner, a 23-year-old thrift store owner from North Attleborough, MA who currently resides in New Bedford, MA.

Terrance's move leaves Kyle and Joseph Abdin, a 24-year-old lawyer from Lake Worth, FL, for eviction, on the chopping block.

The Big Brother broadcast began with the house split into two festivals, one indoors and one outdoors, each led by an HoH, Michael and Terrance.

Michael had won the prior Head of Household competition, with Terrance finishing in second place.

Michael's group at "Big Brochella" inside the Big Brother house was comprised of Jasmine, Brittany, Monte, and Taylor Hale.

Terrance's group at "Dyre Fest" in the backyard was made up of Turner, Joseph, Kyle, and Alyssa Snider.

Terrance had decided to nominate Turner and Joseph after Kyle had spilled the beans -- and essentially exposed his entire game in the process -- about his big "Leftovers" alliance that both men were in.

"This alliance has been taking out people week after week, so now it's my turn to take a hit to their side," Terrance said proudly in the Diary Room.

Joseph assumed he was Terrance's target, but he thought he still had Kyle and Turner on his side and could trust them.

Turner admitted he was a little upset and sad, and he was determined to get to the bottom of things.

Terrance told Joseph that his decision was strategic, just to make people feel comfortable, but he said his "ultimate move" was going after Kyle. Joseph told Terrance to do what he had to do, and Terrance said in turn that if he won the Power of Veto, he'd use it to save Joseph.

Terrance was lying and Joseph was his main target -- and Joseph wasn't buying Terrance's story at all.

Terrance tried to protect Kyle by allowing Turner to think he had implicated himself during a previous conversation about Otev, but Terrance told the cameras his pitch was "bullsh-t."

Terrance told Turner that he was paranoid and it was "definitely" his "bad," and Turner said he was losing his mind and didn't know what to think or do anymore.

Turner, however, was convinced he was still tight with Kyle and Alyssa, and so he didn't think getting rid of Joseph would be that bad, even though that outcome would be one of the worst-case scenarios for "The Leftovers" alliance.

"I did what I had to do to save me and Alyssa this week," Kyle explained. "And I'm pretty sure Joseph would've done the exact same thing if he got the chance. So sorry, bro, I just got there first."

Meanwhile, Michael had nominated Jasmine, his target, and Monte, his pawn, for eviction this week inside of the Big Brother house. Jasmine was outside of "The Leftovers," and Michael looked forward to making a huge move in the game.

It then became time for the two Power of Veto competitions of the week, one inside the house for Michael's festival group and one set up in the backyard for Terrance's festival bunch.

The PoV competition for Michael, Brittany, Monte, Jasmine, and Taylor required each houseguest to participate in a classic "counting confidence" competition, which Michael seemed very prepared for.

To win the PoV competition, a houseguest had to earn three letters to spell the word "VIP."

The players were shown a small group of items, such as stickers or guitar picks, as well as a giant collection of those same items. They were asked questions typically starting with "How many...?"

The houseguests attempted to get as close to the correct numerical answer as possible, but if they weren't confident in their answers, they could choose to "Stay" or "Fold" in each round.

A player would not be able to earn a letter in the case of folding, but he or she would be able to stick around for the next round.

"If you Stay and you're closest to the actual answer, you'll earn a letter," explained the competition's host Tiffany Mitchell, who competed on Big Brother 23.

"But if you Stay and you're the furthest from the actual answer, you will be eliminated. The first player to spell VIP or the last player standing will win the golden Power of Veto."

Taylor was eliminated from the competition first, and then she was followed by Monte. When Michael, Brittany and Jasmine were still in it, Brittany won the competition thanks to some strategy on Michael's part to Fold at the right times.

"Between the two of us, we have all the power, and now we get to decide if Taylor or Jasmine will get us further in the game," Michael boasted.

After the competition, Michael and his fellow "Leftovers" allies discussed how they should cut out any members who had been disloyal. Michael said if Joseph was voted out of the game, it would mean Turner and Kyle voted him out, which would cause a huge crack in the alliance.

Michael believed Monte and Taylor would gun for Kyle and Turner as a result, leaving Michael and Brittany in the middle and in safe spots.

Monte said if Joseph got evicted and Kyle had anything to do with it, it would be "BB suicide" for Kyle, who had already made a decision the previous week to save Alyssa when it wasn't the best move for his alliance.

As for Kyle, he felt he needed to choose between Alyssa and "The Leftovers." Alyssa hoped they could come together and be stronger than ever now that she was aware of the big alliance, but she was still a little hurt Kyle had been plotting without her for weeks.

Kyle knew his allies would come after him, 100 percent, if one of "The Leftovers" went home. Kyle acknowledged that if he won the Power of Veto competition, his allies would expect him to take Alyssa out.

However, Kyle felt the need to win the PoV in order to keep himself safe, and so he just planned to roll with the punches and face the game as it comes.

For the Power of Veto competition outdoors, Terrance, Kyle, Alyssa, Turner and Joseph had to set up their own game and then were required to build and stack to-go containers as high as preferred onto a lunch tray.

The houseguests had to carry their tray and set it down on one of five posts at the end of their lane.

If containers were successfully transported to the post, a player must return to the start and move on to his or her next stack. If any container fell off the tray at any point during transportation, the player must bring all of his or her containers and trays back to the start -- and do the competition all over again.

All 50 containers needed to be transported to the post using five trays, and if a container fell off its post, it would need to be returned to the start.

Alyssa hoped to win and keep nominations the same, keeping Kyle and herself off the chopping block. Terrance wanted to win to keep nominations the same, but both Turner and Joseph wanted to see Alyssa go up on the chopping block.

"Joseph winning the Veto this week is worst case scenario because I want him gone," Kyle clarified.

In the end, Terrance won the Power of Veto, and Joseph tried to convince the HoH to nominate Alyssa as the replacement nominee. Kyle wanted Terrance to trust him more, and so he got into even more detail about "The Leftovers" alliance.

And Joseph warned Terrance that if he walked back in the house with a showmance still intact, he'd be "done."

Terrance asked Joseph why he wanted Alyssa gone so badly over Kyle, and Joseph said Kyle was more trustworthy.

"He's sending your ass home, bro," Terrance replied, throwing Kyle under a bus. "He wants to send you home."

"Oh that's wild to me, bro!" Joseph said in shock.

Terrance ratted Kyle out and confirmed his knowledge of "The Leftovers," and Joseph felt totally heartbroken and betrayed.

"I was even willing to throw the Veto to him. I have literally been played for a fool," Joseph lamented. "I was trying so hard... He snaked all of us!"

Terrance was proud of himself for stirring the pot because he could pit the two guys against each other.

At the two Veto Meetings, Brittany announced she had decided not to use the veto, leaving Jasmine and Monte on the block.

Jasmine wasn't surprised by Brittany's decision, but she was happy to be sitting next to one of the biggest targets in the house.

And Terrance announced he had decided to use the Power of Veto to save Turner. Terrance then named Kyle the replacement nominee, saying this situation would give them the opportunity to talk openly going forward.

Terrance was glad to have two big threats on the block, and he assumed they'd keep spilling secrets.

"I'm just driving the bus, and these fools are throwing each other under it!" Terrance bragged in the Diary Room.

Kyle was surprised by Terrance's choice, but he was confident he could still rally enough votes to send Joseph packing.

And Joseph felt "a glimmer of hope" now that Kyle was sitting on the block next to him.

"I'm not a fighter, but if you punch me first, I'm gonna hit back. And I don't miss," Joseph noted.
