Big Brother's new Head of Household nominated two houseguests for eviction during Sunday night's broadcast on CBS.

The episode began on Day 85, with most of the houseguests competing in a daunting and meticulous Head of Household task in which they had to transport eggs down a large tiny-holed net. Liz Nolan hoped to win so she could go after "Sneaky Steve," Steve Moses, since he had targeted the twins and managed to evict her sister Julia Nolan as the former HoH.

Steve knew that worst case scenario would be Liz or her boyfriend Austin Matelson winning the competition. Austin said he or Liz needed to win in order to make it to the Final 4 since they were in a showmance in the house and therefore easy targets.

In the end, Vanessa won the HoH competition and Liz walked away with the luxury prize. Liz later discovered that prize was an Ariana Grande concert. She asked Vanessa Rousso to join her, and the girls -- accompanied by former Big Brother houseguest Frankie Grande -- sat in a VIP section and each received a big bag full of goodies.

Vanessa had to choose a side because she was smack in the middle of two alliances. She could choose to work with Liz and Austin, who she had been aligned with for the majority of the game, or Steve and his best bud John McGuire.

To help her make a decision, Vanessa interrogated each houseguest about what his or her plans were going to be if she won HoH. She thought it was a smart way to find out who was lying to her and who was being honest. Vanessa became very paranoid, but Austin did everything in his power to make her feel safe.

Steve told Vanessa that Austin had promised him that he wouldn't be the week's target if he won HoH. Liz had also made a deal with Steve to keep him in the house if he was on the chopping block and she happened to be the new HoH with the tie-breaking vote. Vanessa wasn't sure Austin and Liz were going to take her any further in the game.

But when Vanessa confronted Austin about it, Austin assured her that he would absolutely nominate Steve and John for eviction -- with the intention of evicting one of them.

Liz insisted to Vanessa she never gave her a reason to doubt her in this game, especially because she got rid of James Huling for her. Liz said she never would have voted for Steve to stay over Vanessa, and she believed her. John told Vanessa he had made a deal with Austin for his safety, but Austin completely denied it.

Vanessa just planned to follow her gut. While it was intimidating that Austin and Liz were a couple in the game, Vanessa expressed to Steve how she was sure he'd take John to the Final 2 instead of her. John was also a great person for anyone to take to the end because he'd have a tough time of winning. John hadn't won any HoH competitions, while Vanessa had four under her belt.

Vanessa intended to make smart decisions which would increase her odds of getting to the finals. Steve was mad Vanessa was wavering because it was supposed to be three -- himself, Vanessa and John -- against two.

As the Nomination Ceremony was approaching, Vanessa needed Austin to swear on everything that he was going to remain loyal to her. She needed justification for keeping a showmance in the house. Austin gladly gave Vanessa his word, swearing on his family as well as his love for Liz.

Vanessa felt he was definitely going to honor their alliance, which they had secured way back on Day 2. The couple also shook on it. Vanessa and Austin hoped that Austin could win HoH next week.

At the Nomination Ceremony, Vanessa put Steve and John on the chopping block. Vanessa explained Steve's nomination was the furthest thing from personal, while she worried Steve's loyalty was solely to John.
