Vince Panaro had nominated Ava Pearl, Mickey Lee, and Kelley Jorgensen for eviction, and Kelley was feeling particularly betrayed by her former ally.
Mickey and Ava said they weren't really surprised by their nomination, and Mickey slammed Vince in the Big Brother Diary Room for not having a backbone and being weak at the knees.

Mickey was also angry at Morgan Pope because Morgan had told Mickey that they were "solid" and working with Vince.
Mickey was questioning Morgan's loyalty, which angered Morgan because she wasn't Head of Household and it wasn't her decision to make. The women bickered as a result.
"I knew you might be on the block, but the thing is, everyone wanted you on the block!" Morgan vented in a confessional.
"Because of what you've been doing to everyone -- lying, saying this, spreading that, planting this. You're just upset that your decisions and your actions are coming back around!"
Morgan then told Keanu Soto, Rachel Reilly and Cliffton "Will" Williams that if one of them won the Power of Veto, they couldn't use it. Morgan was well aware that Mickey was Vince's target, and she seemed perfectly fine with that.

Rachel also suspected she'd be the replacement nominee, and so she personally did not want the Veto used.
Keanu had a Final 2 deal with Rachel, but he said he was willing to take her out because she'd probably beat him at the end of this game.
Keanu therefore wanted to win the Veto and use it so that Rachel would go up on the block.

Vince then tried to do some damage control with Kelley by telling her that he wanted to backdoor Rachel, but Kelley said she didn't believe him and they certainly weren't working together.

Meanwhile, Katherine Woodman said she'd never trust Vince again and she wanted Rachel gone for what she had done to Rylie Jeffries.
Afterward, Mickey cried to Vince and gave him "lip service," and Vince said he'd actually consider taking her off the chopping block because she wasn't his target anymore.
Morgan, however, didn't want Vince to touch Rachel, Will, Ashley Hollis or herself because they were in "The Judges" alliance together.
Morgan warned Vince that it was probably too early to take a shot at Rachel and he couldn't risk blowing up their alliance. Vince considered listening to Morgan, whom he trusted, so he thought about making Katherine the potential replacement nominee.
It then became time to pick players for the Power of Veto competition.

In addition to the HoH, Vince, and the three nominees -- Mickey, Ava and Kelley -- Will got selected by random draw to compete. Will admitted to the cameras he had no desire to play and show his cards.
Kelley's name was also picked, and so she chose Keanu to compete. Kelley hoped Keanu would win and use the Veto on her.
For the Power of Veto competition, the participating houseguests were required to retrieve two glasses of wine, one of which was marked "Poison," from a bar in a series of rounds.
"That person will bring those two glasses back and must choose one player to target in an attempt to get them to drink the poison glass, but it's up to their target to choose which glass of wine to drink," Morgan explained.
"Once the target has selected their glass, the pair of players will drink their wine, revealing which one of them was poisoned. The poisoned wine will foam in your mouth when you drink it. The next player in line will then follow suit."
If a player drank two glasses of poisoned wine, he or she would be out of the competition. The last player standing would win the Power of Veto.
During the competition, Kelley was clearly targeting Mickey and Vince.
The last round came down to Mickey vs. Vince, and in the end, Vince was poisoned and Mickey won the Power of Veto.

Vince called Mickey winning "the absolute worst case scenario" because, no matter what decision he made for the replacement nominee, he'd be pissing off half of the house. Rachel also thought the results were terrible for her game.
Vince acknowledged Katherine would be "the safe move," but he wasn't sure he wanted to do the safe thing at this point.

Vince then warned Rachel that Keanu wanted to target her without being the one to make the actual move. This created a wedge and some mistrust between the two allies, and Keanu was angry at Vince for telling Rachel that.
Later on, Ashley let Rachel know that Kelley had taken a jab at how she was drinking wine at a party, and Rachel -- who knew Kelley was gunning for her -- called Kelley "basic, boring" and the "worst Big Brother player ever."
Rachel proceeded to leave Kelley out of conversations because she thought Kelley was being fake. She wouldn't even let Kelley sit with her, which really upset Kelley and made her cry.
Rachel then set her eyes on Keanu and Kelley, which made Vince rethink his next move.
"It feels like a deal with the devil -- dealing with Rachel," Vince lamented.
Vince then confronted Rachel and complained about how she had thrown him under the bus to Keanu. Rachel apologized and claimed that Keanu was "obsessed" with her and she'd be a loyal ally to him going forward.
Rachel pleaded with Vince, "I want to work with you," adding how she'd be an asset for him.
Keanu knew that Rachel was campaigning against him, and so Vince was put in the middle of them.
At the Veto Meeting, Mickey announced that she was using the Power of Veto to save herself. Vince therefore had to name a replacement nominee, and that person was Katherine.
Vince said he decided to nominate Katherine because he didn't know if he'd have the numbers to take Rachel out. Rachel also seemed to want multiple targets out before Vince.
Katherine was shocked by Vince's decision, and she called it "dumb, illogical and infuriating."

Katherine was convinced that Vince was going to regret his decision, and Keanu was also very disappointed in Vince for not making a big move.
