Barbie has released its doll in Zendaya Coleman's exact image, and the actress and former Dancing with the Stars contestant couldn't be happier.

Coleman inspired Mattel to create a Barbie doll based on her signature look from the 2015 Oscars, which included an off-the-shoulder ivory gown and a full head of dreadlocks. Just one week after Mattel's announcement, Barbie finished the one-of-a-kind doll and presented it to Coleman.
Coleman, who finished Dancing with the Stars' sixteenth season with pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy in second place, posted photos comparing herself to the doll on Instagram.
"When I was little I couldn't find a Barbie that looked like me, my... how times have changed. Thank you @barbie for this honor and for allowing me to be apart of your diversification and expansion of the definition of beauty," Coleman wrote, adding that the Barbie's eyebrows are "on fleek."
A designer for The Barbie Collection, Carlyle Nuera, said it was "so much fun" to recreate Coleman's "iconic look at the Oscars."

"From the #fauxlocs originally done by @theshelbyswain to the @viviennewestwoodofficial gown! Mad love to the amazingly talented team at Mattel that I work with; sculptors, face painters, hair designers, patternmakers, seamstresses and more!" he captioned photos of the doll on Instagram.
Coleman, 19, was at the center of a controversy in February when Fashion Police co-host Giuliana Rancic had made an offensive comment about how her dreadlocks must've smelled like "patchouli oil or weed," which prompted Kelly Osbourne to quit the show and Coleman to go on a rampage about Rancic's "ignorance" and "disrespect."
Rancic apologized numerous times and claimed her words were edited out of context on Fashion Police. Osbourne, however, called Rancic out for being a liar and they've been in a feud ever since.
