Bachelor in Paradise featured Dean Unglert dumping Caelynn Miller-Keyes, John Paul Jones verbally attacking Derek Peth at Chris Randone and Krystal Nielson's wedding, Connor Saeli entering Paradise, and Clay Harbor reuniting with Angela Amezcua during Tuesday night's Season 6 broadcast on ABC.

The Bachelor in Paradise episode began with Dean pulling Caelynn away after the season's third Rose Ceremony in which Dean gave her a rose.

Caelynn was immediately nervous about the fact Dean wanted to talk to her alone, so she reminded him that it was her birthday.

Dean started out the conversation by saying he entered Paradise expecting to have fun. He never thought he would form such a special connection with an awesome and wonderful human being.

"You blew my expectations of this entire experience out the water. You've been absolutely amazing the entire time, but you know my weird history with this and my caution and apprehension going into it," Dean explained.

"I know I won't be able to get where you would need me to be by the end of this. Wholeheartedly, I know I won't be able to get there."

Dean said the breakup would be "a million times harder" two weeks from that point if they decided to stay together and see Paradise through, but Caelynn didn't understand why he was doing this.

Dean didn't want Caelynn to look back on Paradise and wish she had done things differently, especially with new guys coming onto the beach.

Dean thought the solution would be for him to go home and allow Caelynn to get to know other men without him lurking around and making things difficult for her.

Dean said they got along great and spent every waking moment together in Paradise, but once they returned home, the situation would be different and their lifestyles wouldn't be compatible.

"I think you deserve a guy who is 100 percent gung-ho jumping into a relationship with you... I just think you deserve someone better than me, to be completely honest," Dean said.

Caelynn was frustrated Dean was making that decision for her, but he admitted he no longer wanted to string her along and it would be best for both of them to end the relationship now.

Caelynn found Dean's decision "so aggravating," and although she cried during most of the conversation, she didn't break down into tears until Dean finally walked away from her.

The cast could tell Caelynn was "crushed," and the girls rushed to comfort her after Dean left the show.

"I thought he was my forever, but he blindsided me. I don't know what I want to do. I just want him to be here," Caelynn said after Dean's exit, before telling her girlfriends she felt "like an idiot" for falling for him and trusting him.

Caelynn later told Derek Peth that Dean breaking up with her was "a cop-out" because she didn't think Dean believed he deserved to have a good woman in his life. She thought he was afraid to act on his feelings because he knew what they had was real.

Caelynn was pretty much over Paradise, but she wasn't the only hurting and deflated person on the beach.

John Paul bawled on the beach next to Blake Horstmann, who attempted to provide support and a little comfort. John Paul said he had been looking for his wife since he was 18-years-old and Tayshia had everything he wanted in a future partner.

The cast suddenly received a beautifully wrapped box and learned they'd be attending Chris and Krystal's wedding in Mexico. Mike Johnson got "all the feels" receiving an invitation, calling himself "a corny-ass dude."

Everyone was so excited to watch this union, but Clay felt anxiety about seeing his ex-girlfriend Angela again. Clay was close friends with Chris and Krystal and knew Angela was going to be a bridesmaid in the wedding.

Clay knew it would be difficult to see Angela again, and while he didn't want the reunion to affect his serious relationship with Nicole Lopez-Alvar, he couldn't predict how he was going to handle the situation. Clay also didn't like the idea of rubbing his romance with Nicole in Angela's face.

It then became time for Krystal and Chris' wedding and many members of Bachelor Nation gathered to celebrate the happy couple -- including Ben Higgins, Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk, Becca Kufrin, Tia Booth, Kendall Long and Joe Amabile, and more.

Dylan Barbour realized at the wedding he and Hannah Godwin could be in Krystal and Chris' shoes one day, and many of the Paradise cast members were inspired by the couple's love and ability to last.

Caelynn was still upset after being dumped by Dean and didn't want to be at the wedding, but then Connor arrived, and Caelynn's whole attitude changed.

Connor was apparently her type, and she had a feeling he'd be a better match for her than Dean -- especially because he doesn't live in a van.

Before the wedding commenced, John Paul noticed Tayshia and Derek were talking and flirting a bit.

"I like Tayshia a lot and Derek is trying to swoop in after his relationship with [Demi Burnett], and Derek is that creepy guy that graduated high school five years ago and comes back to the high school parties despite the fact he's a grown-ass man," John Paul told the cameras.

"I will not allow Derek to swoop in and steal Tayshia away."

John Paul added that Derek was a fraud and Tayshia deserved much more, a man who's ready for commitment and knows what he's looking for and has similar values to her.

John Paul told Tayshia there was potential for a long-term relationship for them and Derek was not the right guy for her, but Tayshia explained it was not the time or place to have that conversation.

Tayshia admitted she had a connection with both men and needed to figure things out for herself.

"When someone I care about is being manipulated or pursued by the wrong person, it makes me very angry. I've got to take out the trash when it starts to smell like sh-t," John Paul said.

After Krystal and Chris exchanged beautiful self-written vows and everyone exited the ceremony, Haley Ferguson, Ashley Iaconetti and Caelynn discussed how Angela had "revenge body" and had "lost so much weight."

The girls gossiped about how Angela walked down the aisle, strutting her stuff with sass and attitude.

Tayshia was shown talking to Annaliese Puccini about how Derek had more life experience than John Paul but she was having fun and exploring both relationships. She noted she was a bit "conflicted" between the two.

John Paul then opened up to Katie Morton about how he wanted to pursue a long-term relationship with Tayshia and how Derek had allegedly "expressed to [him] multiple times" about "reaching out to his fans and taking advantage of them sexually as a result of acquiring fame through this process."

John Paul didn't want Derek to "mess with" Tayshia or let him potentially break her heart. John Paul said he wanted Tayshia to find happiness, even if it meant he wasn't the guy for her.

John Paul accused Derek of taking advantage of women, not being ready for a real commitment, and not being a man of integrity. He called Derek "a Bachelor Nation" groupie and said Derek tried to "f-ck" women who follow him on social media.

John Paul also told Demi that Derek was looking for content for his podcast, but Demi just thought he was jealous. Demi just hoped John Paul wouldn't do something "crazy and scary" -- but he did just that.

John Paul asked to speak with Derek and demanded to know his intentions with Tayshia.

"I know this podcast is a very big part of your life. You've mentioned it to me multiple times. You've talked about bringing me on the show... You also demonstrated using your status to hook up with women that are infatuated with public figures," John Paul said.

Derek tried to talk and answer the questions, but John Paul wouldn't let him. Derek said John Paul was bulldozing the conversation.

"Name one thing I said that is false Derek. Do not insult my intelligence!" John Paul yelled as the conversation got more heated.

After John Paul angrily yelled about Derek not being on the show for the right reasons and trying to talk his way out of the situation, Derek said, "All of that is false!"

"You said verbatim, your words, 'You can f-ck some of those girls!' I bet Tayshia would like that. Why don't you go tell Tayshia?" John Paul said, later adding, "I don't have a podcast!"

"Seeing you manipulate Tayshia makes me sick. Get out of my sight!" John Paul yelled.

Meanwhile, Tayshia was crying in a corner over the drama, and Dylan noted it was a shame that the Paradise cast brought this kind of drama to Chris and Krystal's wedding. He said the fight was wildly inappropriate.

Chris and Krystal then asked the Paradise group to gather together, and they invited the following people to attend the afterparty or reception of their wedding: Hannah, Dylan, Caelynn, Blake, Mike, Kristina Schulman, Tayshia and Clay.

The girls who didn't get invited were upset, especially Sydney Lotuaco and Nicole because their love interests were asked to go party without them.

Sydney worried this night would negatively impact her connection with Mike, as she had been hoping the wedding would be a push forward in their relationship.

And Nicole -- who admitted she hated Clay's ex -- worried Angela would try to win Clay back. She felt Angela had everything to do with Clay being invited to the afterparty without a date.

At the afterparty, Angela seemed to be hitting it off with Chase McNary, and the scene affected Clay.

And Blake commiserated about being a single guy at the wedding. He felt everyone was judging him, but Kristina told the bachelor he's a good guy with good intentions that just didn't translate well.

Caelynn then told Annaliese she had been "crazy about" Connor and waiting for him to come to the beach. Connor, however, was speaking to Kristina at the moment, and Kristina revealed she had been hoping to meet him.

Both girls were exploring a connection with Connor, but by the end of the night, Caelynn got a kiss. Caelynn said Connor's presence totally turned her Paradise experience around, and she was excited for what was to come.

Clay then asked Angela to sit down for a chat, but he wasn't sure she'd even want to talk to him since the last time they had spoken was their breakup.

Clay told Angela guys had been asking him if it was okay that they could talk to her, and he confessed it was difficult to see and he still cared about her a lot. Clay told Angela she is special to him and a sweetheart.

Angela didn't understand how he could be ready to date in Paradise after their relationship ended not long ago, and Clay acknowledged his stint was "selfish" and he's sorry.

"You said you needed to figure things out, you needed to be alone, and you needed to find yourself," Angela said.

Clay explained he had been focused on getting on an NFL team roster, but when that didn't happen, he started to think about what he's doing for the rest of his life "and starting anew, almost."

Angela said all she wanted for Clay was to see him happy, and he expressed again how he cared about her a lot -- as Tayshia watched from a distance.

Back at the beach, John Paul confronted Derek again at the bar in front of BIP bartender Wells Adams. John Paul told Derek that he meant every word he had said and every word was "factual."

Derek accused John Paul of ambushing him in front of a room full of people, but John Paul said he was trying to show Tayshia that he was fighting for him and he's the type of man she deserves.

"You have no idea what I've been through this entire time. You have not talked to me once to try to get to know me or understand what happened with Demi before," Derek said.

"Yes I have," John Paul responded.

"Then you understand the weight of what I went through," Derek noted. "I did not know in any way that you were interested in [Tayshia[ until this moment right now... You gave your rose to Haley last night."

Derek just wanted to have a civil conversation, but John Paul wasn't having it. Derek said he asked John Paul to be on his podcast just so they'd have an opportunity to have fun together and hang out after the show.

"Your full of sh-t. Your pathetic. I'm done with you. Don't come up to me for the rest of the time I'm here," John Paul demanded.

Once the storm settled, John Paul was looking forward to seeing Tayshia again.

The next day, Connor arrived in Paradise with a Date Card and told the cameras a few ladies had caught his eye at the wedding, and Kristina and Caelynn were clearly two of them.

Connor pulled Caelynn aside for a chat first and told her that he went to bed smiling after their conversation, and she definitely felt a spark between them.

"I need a good guy, and hopefully that's Connor," Caelynn said.

Connor then spoke to Kristina, and she expressed interest, but he ended up asking Caelynn out on a date.

"I feel like I should expect it. Like, 'Hey, I'm interested in Connor,' and then automatically Caelynn is interested in him too," Kristina complained in a confessional.

"Caelynn does like my leftovers -- not once, not twice, not three times. I don't understand why someone would continuously go after the guys I'm interested in. It's just weird, to be honest."

For their date, Connor and Caelynn rolled around in some body paint to create a work of art on a giant canvas. The pair had immediate chemistry and kissed and rolled around in the paint together.

Caelynn said she had always been attracted to Connor, and he thought their date was a lot of fun. Connor felt their conversation was natural and just asked Caelynn to always be honest with him.

"Dean and I would have never worked, so I'm really happy now I have something that could really be something. Plus, [Connor] has his sh-t together," Caelynn said.

Back on the beach, Clay was shown telling Mike his breakup with Angela was really tough. He said he never cried much in his life but shed a lot of tears over her.

Tayshia thought Clay was an amazing guy, but she thought he had faltered during his conversation with Angela at the wedding. Tayshia said Clay's actions showed he was still interested in his previous relationship and he chose Angela over Nicole the previous night.

Tayshia advised Nicole to talk to Clay and get some answers. Nicole worried he wasn't 100 percent over Angela, but when she talked to him, Clay was open and honest about his prior conversation with Angela.

Clay said Angela felt like he had led her on in their relationship and she had reached out in attempt to get back together a couple of times. Clay told Nicole that Angela was special to him, and Clay told the cameras his feelings for Angela couldn't be turned off or on.

However, Clay asked Nicole not to worry about his past with Angela at all.

"If Clay were to even consider going back to his ex, I'd be so hurt," Nicole told the cameras.

Tayshia felt if Angela was to enter Paradise, Clay and Nicole wouldn't be together anymore.
