Anna Nicole Smith's body was embalmed Saturday, a South Florida medical examiner said.

The body would be returned to storage at the Broward County morgue once the embalmers were through with their work, Joshua Perper told The Miami Herald.

The embalming was delayed when two employees of a Hollywood, Fla., funeral home refused to sign a confidentiality agreement Friday, the newspaper said. Replacements were found at another funeral home in Jupiter.

Perper said the agreement included promising not to take photographs.

The body remains under 24-hour security.

Smith died Feb. 8 in a Hollywood hospital where she was taken after being found unresponsive in her hotel room. A cause of death has not been determined.

Smith's final resting place is undecided. Her estranged mother, Vergie Arthur, wants to bury her in Texas, while her partner, Howard K. Stern, says Smith wanted to be buried next to her son, Daniel, in the Bahamas. A court hearing continues on Tuesday.
