American Idol's fourteenth-season judges clearly have high expectations for next year's talent.

"We've got a very unusual, eclectic group. I think there's a lot of artists in this group. It's not just singers. It's people who are very individual," Keith Urban told Extra.

"This year is different than last year because last year had a huge amount of talent, but this year the talent isn't only vocal but performing wise too," explained Harry Connick Jr. "These kids are ready to put on a show which is important this year. We didn't have as much of that last year."

As for Jennifer Lopez, she discussed her wardrobe choices on the reality singing competition.

"There's always new fun clothes to wear! It doesn't matter where they're from. It can be from Top Shop or Forever 21. That's the definition of style to me. You find what it is you and you put it together. It doesn't matter if it's a designer label or just a regular store," she told Extra.

With the holidays on the horizon, a busy Lopez said she doesn't have any extravagant plans except spending some quality time with her six-year-old twins Max and Emme.

"I think it's just going to be a low key Christmas for me and the kids. I'm excited to stay home. I'm actually working on New Year's Eve so I'll be rehearsing through the holidays. I love it," the singer and actress said, adding what her children have on their lists for Santa this year.

"My son is obsessed with computers and apps. I don't even know. He knows so much more than I do. And my daughter is just like, 'I want sparkly nail polish. I want new leggings.'"

Lopez also intends to let loose this month, especially when it comes to her diet.

"I try not to think about it too much during the holidays," Lopez told Extra.
