Harold "Bo" Bice, one of the five "American Idol" finalists, once was arrested for felony cocaine possession, it was reported Thursday.

The charge was dismissed last year after Bice completed a "diversion program" for first-time offenders, The Smoking Gun said. Bice, 29, had been arrested in 2001 in Huntsville, Ala., the report said.

He posted a $1,000 bond but when a police investigator failed to show at his preliminary hearing the case was dismissed. When prosecutors prepared to re-file the felony count, Bice opted to enter a drug diversion program overseen by the district attorney's office in 2003, the report said.
