Abigail "Aerial Animation" Baird, a mime, puppetry and silent film act from Santa Fe, New Mexico; Andrey Moraru, a martial arts and circus performer from Moldova; Jaycob Curlee, an 18-year-old singer and guitarist from Daphne, AL; and Mat Franco, a magician from RI; were revealed to have finished as the Top 4 vote-getters after Tuesday night's performance show, automatically earning them a spot in America's Got Talent's ninth-season semifinals.

Tuesday night's episode had featured the season's second group of 12 quarterfinalist acts performing for home viewer votes.

America's Got Talent host Nick Cannon also revealed that The Hart Dance Team; comedian Darik Santos; rollerblade dancer Juan Carlos; trick roper Loop Rawlins; band act Olivia Millerschin, Matt Heim and Livy; and salsa dancers John Narvaez and Andrew Cervantes had received the six lowest home viewer vote totals.

The announcements then left America's Got Talent judges Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Melanie "Mel B" Brown, and Howard Stern with the task of deciding which of the two acts that had received the fifth and sixth highest vote totals -- ACT II, a pair of female opera singers from Las Vegas, NV, and Mara Justine, a 12-year-old singer from Galloway, NJ -- should become the fifth act to advance to the semifinals.

Heidi, Mel B. and Howard all voted to advance Mara. Three votes were enough to seal the deal, so Howie didn't even have to reveal his choice.

Next week's Tuesday night broadcast will feature another round of 12 quarterfinalist acts showing off their skills. The acts who will be performing are Adrian Romoff, Blue Journey, Mike Super, Sons of Serendip, AcroArmy, Paul Ieti, Wendy Liebman, Kieran & Finian Makepeace, Dragon House "The Agents," Christian Stoinev, Cornell Bhangra, and Anna Clendening.
