During each episode of The Big Give, contestants competing on the show will face a "big twist" that will see them giving away "millions of dollars" to make a difference in people's lives across the country.  In addition, special guest stars will make appearances along the way to join in the giving.  One contestant will be eliminated each week with the winner receiving the title of "The Biggest Giver."

ABC ordered eight episodes of the previously titled Oprah Winfrey's The Big Give in March, as Winfrey's Harpo Productions tapped The Amazing Race co-creators Bertram van Munster and Elise Doganieri to executive produce the series.

Oprah's Big Give represents the first competition-based reality show van Munster and Doganieri have produced since launching The Amazing Race for CBS in 2001.  Ellen Rakieten, Harriet Seitler, Jonathan Sinclair will serve as executive producers along with Winfrey, van Munster and Doganieri.

In addition, ABC revealed Dancing with the Stars' sixth season will premiere on Monday, March 17 at 8PM ET/PT and The Bachelor's twelfth season will debut on Monday, March 17 at 10PM ET/PT on ABC.
