A&E Network has announced a third season of Criss Angel Mindfreak, a reality series that follows three-time Magician of the Year recipient Criss "the new Houdini" Angel as viewers have the chance to see him captivate the imaginations of live audiences with mind-bending demonstrations of his other-worldly skills.

Similar to the show'sfirst two season, Criss Angel Mindfreak's third season, scheduled to premiere this summer, will let viewers go behind-the-scenes with Angel as he researches his boggling feats and executes demonstrations with his crew.

Past demonstrations include "Bullet Catch," in which Angel caught a bullet in a cup held by his mouth, and "Body Suspension," featuring Angel suspended from a helicopter by four fish hooks through his skin while being flown over the Nevada desert. Angel's celebrity friends -- including Korn's Jonathan Davis (who also co-produced the show's theme music) and Mandy Moore -- will also drop by to participate in his awe-inspiring antics.

Throughout the years, Angel has been featured on CNN, FOX News Channel, NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, E!, MTV, MSG, The Howard Stern Show, Metro TV, WB Channel 11, NY1, TLC, UPN, TNN, and The Discovery Channel, but he's found a home at A&E, where Mindfreak has attracted the network's youngest audience in history.

Robert Sharenow and Elaine Frontain Bryant are the A&E executive producers. Criss Angel Mindfreak is produced for A&E by Angel Productions Inc. and The Firm. Criss Angel, Dave Baram and Michael Blum serve as the executive producers.
