90 Day Fiance star Chantel Everett has announced she's engaged to girlfriend Ashley Bowen.

Ashley proposed marriage to Chantel on December 17 at Uhuburg, a Renaissance castle in Helen, GA.

"I said yes to a love that feels like home," Chantel recently wrote on Instagram.
"Engaged to my best friend, my safe place, my forever. Thank you to everyone involved in making this moment special."

Ashley apparently popped the question on the couple's anniversary. Not only did they have a beautiful castle as the backdrop for the proposal, but Ashley also surprised Chantel with a house full of red balloons, rose petals, candles and a hot bath afterwards.
Many members of the 90 Day Fiance family congratulated Chantel and Ashley, including Darcey Silva and Cortney Reardanz.
Chantel told People that, prior to the proposal, she had been under the impression that the couple was going to have a romantic photo shoot at the castle.
Chantel was therefore shocked when Ashley got down on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage.
The music artist gave Chantel a sparkling ring as well as a surprise original song entitled "Duet for Juliet."

The couple told the magazine, "Our love feels like it was written in the stars. So romantic, so authentic, so raw. We love that about ourselves. We love that about our love story."
Chantel came out about her sexuality on 90 Day: Hunt for Love earlier this year.
Before Chantel left to film 90 Day: Hunt for Love, she apparently had a mind-blowing kiss with her then-best friend that made her question everything -- including whether she wanted to pursue men at all.
By the end of the season, Chantel decided that she wanted to date Ashley seriously once she returned home, and she had the support of the 90 Day: Hunt for Love cast.

Chantel told Swooon in September that Ashley was friends with her brothers before they connected.
"I met Ashley through River and partying, basically. I met her through River at one of his birthday parties, and we got really close after that, and she just became a really good friend of mine," Chantel revealed at the time.
"I remember asking one of my friends one time, I was just wondering like, 'Do you think Ashley likes me?' And they're like, 'Oh no, no, she doesn't like you. She's just being a really good friend.' But hindsight's 20/20. She had romantic feelings for me."
Chantel said, however, it took some time before their platonic relationship turned romantic.
"I feel like what we have built is very healthy," Chantel said. "So it feels good to be in a committed relationship with somebody who I feel safe with."

Chantel was previously married to Pedro Jimeno. The pair starred on multiple 90 Day Fiance spinoffs, including 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?, before they split in 2022.
Their relationship was also documented on TLC's The Family Chantel for five seasons.
On the Tell All of 90 Day: Hunt for Love that aired in September, Chantel revealed that she and Ashley were living together.

"We are having such a good time in life. We do everything together," Chantel announced.
"We have a lot of great sex together," Ashley added.
Chantel agreed the sex was amazing, and then the pair said, "I love you," to each other.
Chantel then claimed that her family thought her relationship with Ashley was "nasty" because everyone had assumed she was going to end up with a man, such as a professional athlete or doctor.
When Chantel's mother, Karen Everett, joined the Tell All, Karen accused Ashley of using Chantel.
"Ashley, I do feel like you're a clout chaser," Karen said.
Ashley, in turn, alleged that Karen was just trying to ruin her relationship with Chantel.

Karen said she was coming from a place of protection because Pedro had used her for fame and money and then left.
"I am not upset about Chantel being with a woman; I just don't want her to get hurt at the end of the day," Karen explained.
Chantel proceeded to reveal to her mom that she loved Ashley.
"How would you feel if it was me and Ashley getting married?" Chantel asked.
"I'm an extremely worried mom, but Chantel, I would come to the wedding," Karen confirmed.
Chantel said she was grateful for her mother's support, even though her mom tended to overreact and blow things out of proportion.
