90 Day Fiance features Americans who have fallen in love with foreigners bringing their fiances to the United States on K-1 visas.

However, once the couple is in America together, the American must marry their overseas partner within the 90-day period allowed by the visa or the foreigner has to return to their home country.

"The pressure is on and with travel guidelines more challenging than ever, there's even more at stake with these international love stories," TLC teased of the new season.

"Couples aren't just navigating unique lifestyle and cultural changes when arriving in America -- many of them must also adjust to parenthood and nontraditional family lifestyles. And while absence makes the heart grow fonder, personalities and temperaments have changed and not always for the best."

Below is what happened on Episode 2 of 90 Day Fiance's ninth season.

BILAL and SHAEEDA

Bilal and his sister Nefertari were shown decorating Bilal's place, awaiting his fiancee's arrival Trinidad and Tobago.

Bilal was headed to the airport, but Shaeeda had never seen where he lives, the car he drives or how much money he has. He wanted to make sure that Shaeeda wanted him for him and not his money or belongings.

Shaeeda had told Bilal that she's "a ride or die," so he decided to put that to the test by taking her to his childhood home, and he certainly came from humble beginnings.

The pair had a sweet reunion at the airport in which they hugged and kissed. They hadn't seen each other in two years and had only spent seven days together in-person before, and so Bilal couldn't believe that she had finally made it.

Shaeeda felt "overwhelmed" by being in the United States, but she felt excited and looked forward to getting to know Bilal all over again. She couldn't wait to see his house and car.

Bilal walked Shaeeda over to a large white van, and she accused him of tossing her luggage into a big pile of "trash." She said Bilal had always been secretive and so she wondered what he had been hiding from her.

Shaeeda was well aware that Bilal bought, flipped and sold properties, and so she always thought he was pretty secure financially. However, after seeing the old van, Shaeeda worried about what she'd see next.

Shaeeda told Bilal that he had "lost some points" with her, but that also made Shaeeda lose some points with him. Bilal wanted to know that Shaeeda would stay with him if he ended up losing his wealth for whatever reason.

"The reaction she's giving me is really taking me back, and I'm really questioning some things about her right now," Bilal confessed.

When Bilal brought Shaeeda to his childhood home, where he grew up with "great working-class citizens," Shaeeda shook her head in disappointment and disgust. Bilal was just playing a joke on Shaeeda to test her, and seeing her reaction was another problem for Bilal.

The small blue house had peeling paint, broken steps and holes in the ceiling, and Bilal joked about the place being "historic."

Shaeeda called the home "dilapidated" and admitted to the cameras that she didn't want to live there. Shaeeda told Bilal that his home was "a lot to take in" because she had been expecting a more modern and spacious home.

Bilal told Shaeeda that there were a lot of things that had to be fixed but she said she didn't expect a mansion. She said the house didn't represent whom Bilal had presented himself to be, and she also felt like Bilal was lecturing her like she's a child.

Bilal was upset about Shaeeda's "hurtful" reaction, which he thought was essentially, "I thought you'd be better than what you are right now."

Bilal asked Shaeeda if she was ready to roll up her sleeves and get to work or just complain, and she responded, "I will do both."

Bilal had expected an amazing day with Shaeeda, but he said she had complained all day and didn't seem to be a person who appreciated things.

Bilal asked Shaeeda if she wanted something to eat. He said he could order them something, and she snapped back, "Do you have enough money for that?"

Bilal called Shaeeda's behavior "offensive." He expected her to be surprised but grateful and happy about them finally being together.

Shaeeda had been expecting Bilal's home to match how he dressed and always looked, and so she confessed to feeling "completely deceived."

Shaeeda reminded Bilal how she had left her family, friends, and life in Trinidad and Tobago to be with him and so this was a lot to adjust to and get used to. She worried about him not being real and being "delusional" with his image, but she decided she would stick out the 90 days and continue being with Bilal.

"We may have to sell a couple of his suits, but I am here to work with him. We have a lot of work to do before we can even cross the bridge of getting married," Shaeeda said, adding how she loved Bilal.

Shaeeda shared her thoughts with Bilal about his image not matching up with his "humble abode," and Bilal said he didn't want to marry a woman who's with him for money.

"If the wedding was tomorrow, I don't know what I'd do. I'd be praying all night, trying to figure it out," Bilal confessed.

KARA and GUILLERMO

Kara and Guillermo were in the Dominican Republic together so Kara could get him through the airport with an expired passport and bring him back to the United States.

"Beautiful things are coming," Guillermo noted.

Guillermo was taking Kara to a nice dinner in the Dominican Republic before they'd turn right around and go back to America the next day.

Guillermo surprised Kara with her friend Chris and one of his brothers, and Guillermo expected to move to "paradise," where a person can buy anything he or she wants, including food. Guillermo said growing up in Venezuela, he sometimes didn't have access to food, and so he couldn't believe that he was about to experience paradise.

Guillermo's brother still considered Guillermo to be a young boy and called Kara "a sugar mommy," which she was actually okay with. Kara called herself "a proud sugar mommy," but Guillermo insisted he wasn't in his relationship for a green card or spot in the U.S.

Guillermo also got "pissed off" when his loved ones joked around about him being a toddler. Kara laughed at the jokes and he wished his fiancee would respect him. Guillermo knew Kara would have to take care of him, but at the same time, he wanted to be treated as a man.

Kara and Guillermo were then shown driving to the airport and getting on a plane. They hoped they would get through immigration easily and smoothly, but the pair were actually detained by immigration officers in customs for questioning.

Two hours later, Kara and Guillermo walked out of the airport hand-in-hand.

Guillermo was apparently asked if he had another passport by the immigration officer, but then the officer realized he was Venezuelan and didn't seem to care about the expired passport.

Kara was so excited that Guillermo had finally made it, but she worried about him fitting into her life and getting along with her friends in Virginia.

YVE and MOHAMED

Yve, a 48-year-old licensed acupuncturist and massage therapist said she's very passionate about what she does and making a difference in people's lives. She said her Native American roots led her on the path to being a healer.

Yve has a twelve-year-old son named Tharan, who battles autism, Down syndrome and Stage II kidney disease.

Yve said she has a lot on her plate as a single mom and there had been times that were very demanding and stressful. For example, Tharan had to be catheterized every three hours. She tried to be positive and keep moving forward.

Yve was almost married before. She dated her son's father for eight years but said "different people go through different things" and she didn't feel emotionally supported by her ex. Yve therefore called off their engagement.

Yve said she wasn't interested in dating at all until a man half her age from Egypt slid into her DMs. She bragged about him having a "shredded" body and six-pack of abs.

"Hopefully I'm not getting catfished!" Yve said.

Yve called Mohamed an amazing person, whom she had videochatted with a couple of days after meeting. They began talking multiple times a day, and Yve said that even though she's 48 years old and he's 25, the age difference didn't matter to them.

After a couple of weeks, the pair expressed love to each other, and then two months after they met, Yve decided to go see Mohamed and purchased a plane ticket.

Yve said once she saw Mohamed in person, all of her fears melted away and their time together was just "magical and perfect."

The couple got engaged right away with a red-ruby ring, and Yve said she never had this type of connection with somebody before.

Once Yve returned from Egypt, she started the K-1 visa process and he was approved for it two years later.

Mohamed was therefore about to fly to Albuquerque, but Yve's friends worried about him being possessive and controlling.

Yve even tossed some of her clothes that were too revealing given Mohamed wouldn't want her dressing that was in public.

Yve's fiance was also the same age as Tharan. Yve didn't want to be judged or criticized for dating a young man, and she admitted people questioning her decision and Mohamed's motive was "hard" and "heartbreaking."

"I just want everyone to be happy for me," Yve said in tears.

Yve relaxed the day before Mohamed's arrival with several of her best friends, who had been very supportive of her relationship.

Yve revealed Mohamed was a virgin when they met due to his Islam religion but they "went against things" and broke the rules due to their strong and alleged once-in-a-lifetime connection.

Yve wasn't willing to convert to his Islam faith, but she was prepared to dress differently and give up alcohol to please him. Yve's friends feared Mohamed wouldn't like them, and they didn't like the idea of Yve changing herself for a man.

Yve's friends didn't want Yve to lose herself in the relationship and her independence and individuality.

JIBRI and MIONA

Miona was going to arrive in two days and so Jibri was making his preparations, including washing his dad's truck.

While Jibri was waiting on Miona, his band was trying to get back together and make new music. Jibri's best friend David was curious if his love was going to "hold out," and Jibri said it hurt to not have full support from his friends.

David apparently thought Miona came across rude and arrogant when he first met her in Serbia, but Jibri thought the real issue was that he wasn't able to dedicate 100 percent of his time to their music and his business partners weren't thrilled about that.

Jibri felt he was in this alone and everyone was against him, but David assured his friends that he didn't want to see Jibri's talent "slow down or be destroyed" because of a girl.

Jibri had purchased Miona cowboy boots and a cowboy hat, and he was ready to roll out the red carpet for his love.

"This 90 days does seem crazy to me... but f-ck it! I loved Miona since the moment I laid eyes on her, so I feel ready," Jibri said.

Jibri had been at odds with his family and trying to save money for this relationship, so he just hoped Miona would get on the same page about their "lifestyle philosophies" so they could spend the rest of their lives together.

Miona then finally arrived in America, and Jibri said it felt amazing to be reunited with the love of his life. He even pulled out a red carpet for her to walk on through the airport.

"America is usually always represented as a perfect life and chasing the American dream, so I definitely expect a better standard and way of living. And Jibri promised that we would move to [Los Angeles]. If that doesn't happen, then I would want to leave," Miona said in a confessional.

EMILY and KOBE

It had been two years since Emily and Kobe had sex, and so Emily was looking forward to turning Kobe on with some sexy lingerie. She wanted to be able to spend one night alone with Kobe in a hotel before returning home and introducing Kobe to his son.

Emily was excited to have sex and reignite the spark in her relationship, but she revealed how she's a much more sexual person than Kobe.

Emily, however, said she looked different after having a child and was no longer partying all the time, and so she worried about Kobe entering a totally different lifestyle from when they had met and fell in love.

Emily felt a lot of pressure for the relationship to work out, especially since she has a child with Kobe now, and so her nerves started to get the best of her.

Luckily, Emily had the support of her best friend, for the most part, who hoped Kobe wasn't after a green card and cushy life in America.

Emily was then shown driving to the airport to pick up Kobe, whom she hadn't seen in a whopping two years. Kobe missed the birth of their son and the first year or so of his life.

The pair's reunion was therefore an emotional one, and Emily admitted she was "freaking out" once she saw Kobe's plane land. She felt extremely excited and ran into Kobe's arms once he got off the plane.

"She's changed, she's gained weight. But it's not about who she looks... I am complete... I can't wait to see my son right now," Kobe said.
