Speculation that Ashley and Jay may have suddenly split began swirling online on Saturday after Ashley posted a cryptic Instagram Stories photo about not being about to "fake" things anymore and 90 Day Fiance fans noticed she had also deleted all of her photos of Jay from her Instagram account.

"You can only fake that things everything is ok for so long. Then you just hit that point... - ME!!!!!" the Instagram Stories posting stated.

In addition, fans also noticed Ashley and Jay no longer appear to be following each other on Instagram.

Prior to Saturday's posting, Ashley and Jay's social media postings had regularly featured each other and made it clear that they were still together and living in her hometown of Mechanicsburg, PA.

The 90 Day Fiance couple had even offering to record Cameo personal videos together for fans for a fee.

However, hours after sharing her mysterious Saturday posting about not being able to "fake" things anymore, Ashley also made another Instagram Stories posting announcing the couple was no longer selling the personalized videos.

"Sorry for the Cameo declines. We are no longer doing Cameos. Happy holidays everyone," Ashley wrote.

Earlier this month, Ashley had revealed she had recently been hospitalized but was now home and doing better.

"Thank you so much for all your prayers and support. Your kind words are what is helping me get through this trying time. Truly appreciate each of you!" she wrote in an Instagram Story.

"I'm finally home and on the mend! Thanks again for everyone's support."

Ashley didn't dive into the details of her illness or condition, although she did recently share that she suffers from lupus, a chronic autoimmune disorder.

But Jay had seemingly confirmed Ashley's hospitalization was due to her ongoing battle with lupus when he posted two photos showing Ashley sleeping in a hospital bed.

"I promise I will always be there for you through all the ups and downs, no matter what happens. Love you babe girl get well soon #lupus #getwellsoon #staystrong," he captioned the images.

When did Ashley and Jay get married?

While 90 Day Fiance's currently-airing sixth season hasn't yet shown the couple follow through with their plans to wed, Jay reportedly arrived in the United States on his K-1 visa in early March, and according to a wedding registry that has been deleted, Jay and Ashley tied the knot on May 26.

One of Ashley's friends also seemed to confirm Ashley and Jay did end up getting married in a Facebook posting in which she had shared a preview trailer for 90 Day Fiance's sixth season and gushed about how she'd be featured on the show.

"Yes my best friend married a Jamaican," the pal reportedly replied to a skeptical commenter. "It's her show!"

Ashley also reportedly changed her last name to Smith on classmates.com.

Ashley and Jay's relationship began when they met at a bar while Ashley was vacationing in Jamaica for a friend's wedding.

Although they parted ways after a whirlwind romance in Jamaica, Ashley revealed Jay -- whom she calls "the life of the party" and the "light" in her life -- contacted her on social media once she returned to the United States and they began talking frequently and getting to know each other better.

Six months later, Ashley, 31, returned to Jamaica to visit her man, and then Jay, 20, proposed marriage after only eight days together.

Jay eventually received a K-1 visa, and so far 90 Day Fiance's sixth season has shown Jay getting settled in Ashley's home and the couple planning to wed in Las Vegas after scrapping their plans to wed in Mechanicsburg after receiving anonymous threats from someone who didn't approve of their interracial romance.

Photos have also surfaced online showing Ashley and Jay posing for photos in wedding attire in a tropical location, with the ocean and palm trees in the background. The location does not appear to be Las Vegas.

Ashley and Jay had made frequent shows of affection on Instagram

Earlier this month, Ashley had posted a photo of Jay and herself with big red hearts spread across the image.

Back on November 27, Jay also posted photos of the couple enjoying large, steamy and bubbly drinks at Sugar Factory in New York. In the hashtags he posted, Jay referred to themselves as a couple in love.

One week earlier, Jay had shared a picture on Instagram of Ashley sitting in a bathtub, but her private areas were covered by a red rose.

"A beautiful rose for the most beautiful girl in the world and the one that holds my heart," Jay wrote. #iloveyou #youmakemehappy #interacialcouple #youcanthaveher #shesmine."

In the hashtags, Jay also called Ashley "my queen" and his "beauty" and his "love."

Jay also enjoyed his first time in the snow last month in the United States, which was captured by the couple on social media.

Further evidence stems all the way back to September on social media.

For example, Ashley called Jay her "favorite person" and wished him a happy birthday in October, writing, "I love you so much and don't know what I would do if you weren't in my life!"

As for Jay, he previously referred to Ashley as his "wifey" and "woman crush everyday" on Instagram.
