In addition to feeling "accomplished" for having paid her fines and finished community service as well as six months of domestic-violence classes, Larissa revealed to In Touch Weekly she's also been "inspired" to go to law school.

"I believe this system to have some flaws and [I] look forward to [establishing] my citizenship and [pursuing] a career as a lawyer to help others in a similar situation in [the] future," Larissa told In Touch in a statement.

Larissa, 33, said experiencing her own legal battle has motivated her to assist others through their similar trials.

Larissa's case was expected to come to a close by the end of Wednesday, December 4.

"We are very happy with the result of Larissa's case," her lawyer, Adam M. Vander Heyden, told the magazine.

"With the way the negotiation was structured, this case will not impact Larissa's ability to pursue her goal of becoming a United States citizen. It was a pleasure working with her to meet her goals."

According to court documents obtained by The Blast earlier this week, Larissa completed 28 domestic-violence counseling classes, paid her fines, and finished 48 hours of the Justice Court Community Service Program by her scheduled court date on September 4.

Back in May, Larissa accepted a plea deal to avoid spending up to six months in jail after getting into a brawl with her now ex-husband Colt Johnson in their former Las Vegas home.

A judge had reduced her misdemeanor domestic violence charge down to a disorderly conduct charge in exchange for community service and a $345 fine, according to E! News.

The judge had ordered a suspended 90-day jail sentence, The Blast reported, meaning that if Larissa violated the terms of her deal, she'd be at risk for incarceration.

Larissa celebrated the news at the time on Instagram and thanked her attorney for representing her and protecting her rights "in the most dignified manner." She also thanked her now ex-boyfriend, Eric Nichols, for helping her figure out her classes and community service.

"I would like everyone to know that I am very happy and positive about my future!" she wrote in May.

Larissa and Colt first starred on Season 6 of 90 Day Fiance before appearing on 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? on TLC.

90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? featured Larissa trying to adjust to life in Las Vegas with Colt and his mother Debbie. Larissa and Colt's marriage was tumultuous, as they seemed to fight and bicker more than they got along.

After two previous arrests in 2018, Larissa was taken into custody a third time in January 2019 following an explosive argument with Colt at home that escalated into bloody injuries -- including a gash on Larissa's cheek and a cut on the inside of Colt's lip.

According to Larissa, the fight sparked when she allegedly found email receipts for pornographic videos Colt had allegedly purchased.

Larissa was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery although she believed herself to be the victim.

A criminal complaint obtained by TMZ, which had been filed in Las Vegas, reportedly stated that Larissa "did willfully and unlawfully use force or violence against or upon the person of her spouse."

Hours after the incident, Colt filed for divorce from Larissa on January 11 to end their seven-month relationship.

Larissa moved on from her relationship with Colt quickly and debuted her new boyfriend, Eric, whom she had met on Tinder, on social media in February 2019.

On April 1, Colt's lawyer released a statement saying Colt and Larissa had reached a divorce agreement and it was in the process of being written up to be signed and submitted to the judge overseeing the case.

Later that month, Larissa and Colt's divorce was finalized after a Nevada judge signed their agreement to make it official.

According to court documents of the divorce settlement obtained by TMZ, neither Colt or Larissa were required to pay spousal support to the other and there was no community property, income, assets or debt to split up between them.

In addition, Colt and Larissa reportedly agreed to not "slander, defame, disparage or communicate untruths" about each other in the press or on social media.

Larissa announced her split from Eric in September after eight months of dating. She insisted at the time there were no hard feelings, but Eric claimed he was shocked and blindsided by Larissa's announcement of their breakup on social media.

Larissa later filed a police report against Eric on September 18 citing harassment, according to The Blast.

However, Larissa posted sweet Instagram photos of herself flirting with Eric in mid-November and captioned them with a red heart, sparking speculation they may have reconciled.

The seventh season of 90 Day Fiance is currently airing on Sunday nights at 8PM ET/PT on TLC.
