Zac is beginning to make himself known on The Bachelorette after he didn't get much screentime during Clare Crawley's portion of the show due to her love story with Dale Moss.
When Tayshia took over as The Bachelorette's leading lady, Zach called her a breath of fresh air and expressed excitement over getting to learn more about her.

Zac and Tayshia made a wish in the fountain together, and Tayshia dubbed Zac "intriguing."
Zac told Tayshia that he has a lot to offer a woman and then he went in for a kiss! Tayshia felt like she was kissing a real man, and she called Zac "a pleasant surprise."

Zac is a former athlete who initially planned to pursue a career in sports
Zac played three sports in high school and later played baseball in college, but his focus was unfortunately on partying at the time.Zac says he loves Philadelphia sports and dreams of sharing a Philly Cheesesteak with his future wife while watching the Eagles win a Super Bowl.

Zac Clark tries to inspire others not to repeat his mistakes
Zac co-founded a recovery program with a variety of services called Release Recovery in 2017 with his friend Justin Gurland to help people reclaim their lives after struggling with addiction.Both Zac and Justin had their own personal journeys in recovery, which made them want to share what they've learned with others on the same path to sobriety.

The Bachelorette host Chris Harrison has teased Zac is "just a great guy."
Chris teased when announcing The Bachelorette cast on Facebook that Zac will share "a heartfelt story" with viewers."He has a bit of a Nick Viall vibe to him. Again, I'm not sure if that's a good thing, we'll see. But he really is a tremendous guy, and this guy has a heart of gold," Chris shared.
Chris added that Zac is "a quiet guy" but also "a sweetheart."

Zac has truly turned his life around after getting into trouble
According to a Reading Eagle story published in January 2014, Zac spoke at a gathering at Alvernia University and revealed he is a recovering alcoholic who used to abuse illegal and prescription drugs.ADVERTISEMENT
Zac apparently once complained of a pain in his side and asked doctors to remove his gall bladder so he could have access to heavy painkillers. He was also thrilled to receive drugs after a brain tumor was removed from his head.
The article says Zac snorted and smoked OxyContin, shot heroin intravenously, smoked crack and did "whippets," which is inhaling bursts of nitrous oxide for a short-lived high.
Zac was eventually arrested for possession of crack and driving while intoxicated, and then he decided to turn his life around.
Zac loves a tough woman
Zac says he is a sucker for good style and loves a woman with curves who is both tough and confident.Zac also hopes to find a woman with hobbies and goals of her own so that her entire life isn't wrapped up in their relationship.
