Whitney -- who made the semifinals of Dancing with the Stars' 34th season late last year -- kickstarted her six-week engagement playing Roxie Hart in the Broadway musical Chicago on February 2.
And according to the #MomTok star, juggling show business with The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives schedule has been challenging.
Since Whitney has been filming Season 5 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives in New York City, she told Variety in a lengthy interview that it's "very lonely" being away from her co-stars and Mormon community in Salt Lake City.
"They're following me while I'm in New York, but I don't know how that would look for future seasons. It wouldn't make sense," Whitney admitted.

"People want to see the group together. Part of me is like, 'I can't do both,' because both are so time-demanding. Even filming Season 5 has been really hard."
While Whitney was excited to have the majority of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast attend her Broadway debut on opening night, she had to immediately prepare for another show the very next day.
Whitney's hectic schedule probably prevented her from partying too hard with the #MomTok crew at the afterparty.
And Whitney explained that her main focus at the moment is giving Chicago her absolute best effort.
"I need to crush this role," Whitney noted.

"I want producers to come. I want writers and directors to come. And I want them to be inspired, to be like, 'Let's create things together.'"
If Whitney were to leave The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, she confirmed that she "would" stay friends with her co-stars.
Variety reported that Whitney fell silent when asked what she'd gain from remaining with the Hulu reality series after Season 5 given she has openly acknowledged she originally participated in Mormon Wives hoping to use it to launch an entertainment industry career, which she has now accomplished.
"I don't know. Because this is what I wanted, and I wasn't shy about sharing that," Whitney confessed. "So at what point do you move on to the next journey?"
Whitney also said she and husband Conner Leavitt -- who have three children together -- "keep going back and forth" about what to do next.

"[The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives] is where it all started, so it's kind of sad. But maybe that's the best thing," Whitney said.
Whitney also said this time away from Utah has given her a new perspective on her Mormon faith given she grew up extremely devout and obedient to her religion.
"I still have those same core values and standards. But my 30s have been the first time I've questioned things," Whitney admitted.
Whitney said she has to decide whether to baptize her children in the Mormon Church or give them more freedom to choose what they want to believe in.
"They may grow up and be like, 'Well, what do you mean?' I don't drink alcohol, right? But they might be like, 'Well, I want to drink.' And I'd be like, 'Okay.' That's the journey I'm on right now," Whitney explained.

In addition to footage of her living and working in the Big Apple, Whitney recently teased that The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives will also feature behind-the-scenes footage of her time on Dancing with the Stars.
"People are going to be able to see behind the scenes of my Dancing with the Stars journey, which I think is really cool," Whitney previously shared with People.
"Not a lot of people have been able to see that, so I'm excited."
Whitney isn't the only #MomTok star leveraging her fame from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, which premieres its fourth season on March 12 on Hulu.
Taylor Frankie Paul will be starring on The Bachelorette's 22nd season when it premieres Sunday, March 22 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
