The Miami Ink spin-off's third season will continue to follow Kat Von D as she operates her High Voltage Tattoo shop in her hometown of Hollywood while also balancing several business opportunities -- including a makeup line with Sephora.

The 18 new episodes will also feature Von D as she focuses on expanding her product line as well as penning a follow-up to her current best-selling book "High Voltage Tattoo."

In addition, Von D continues to date former Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx and has also hired former Rock of Love with Bret Michaels second-season suitor Aubrey Fisher to work as High Voltage Tattoo's new shop manager.

"Audiences are in for a wild ride with the new season of LA Ink," said TLC programming executive Nancy Daniels.  "We are breathing new life into a series and brand we really believe in. Kat is a great talent and this new season really taps into Kat's role as both an artist and burgeoning business woman."
