The Voice took home gold at the 69th annual Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night.

NBC's The Voice earned the Outstanding Reality-Competition Program award when the show aired September 17.
"When I say family, I really mean it," The Voice producer Audrey Morrissey said in her acceptance speech onstage, accompanied by a large group.
"Whether it's the gorgeous people behind me; the production staff led by Lee Metzger, Kyra Thompson, Amanda Zucker, Chad Hines; or it's the countless kids that come, artists [who] share their voices; or our coaches -- they work so hard and help those kids grow as singers and artists."
She added, "We really, really are a family and I really feel it's the fun, the heart, and the love that we all have that somehow translates onto the screen."

Morrissey also thanked "loyal fans" of the show -- which debuted in Spring 2011 on NBC -- by saying, "We love you."
The Voice defeated the following nominees: RuPaul's Drag Race, The Amazing Race, Top Chef, American Ninja Warrior and Project Runway.
RuPaul's Drag Race received its first nomination this year in the Outstanding Reality-Competition Program category.
The Voice's victory marked its third Outstanding Reality-Competition Program win in a row and fourth overall, as the series previously won this award in 2013 as well.
The Amazing Race won in 2014, and right up until 2012, the show had won the Emmy award in this category every year since the category was created in 2003 -- except for a blip when Top Chef earned the honor in 2010.

The Voice received eight Emmy nominations this year and, according to Deadline Hollywood, 38 nominations over its lifetime.
The Voice's upcoming thirteen season is set to premiere Monday, September 25 at 8PM ET/PT.
The Voice will star newbie coach Jennifer Hudson, a former American Idol finalist, and welcome back returning judge Miley Cyrus. The series will also feature the return of mainstay coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.
For Season 14 in 2018, The Voice will star Season 1 American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson as one of the four coaches.
