The Voice coaches advanced nine artists to the "Knockout Round" during Monday night's Season 11 broadcast of the "Battle Round."

The "Battle Round" kicked off with The Voice coaches Alicia Keys, Miley Cyrus, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton selecting a total of six Battle winners: Christian Cuevas, We McDonald, Riley Elmore, Billy Gilman, Ali Caldwell and Sundance Head.

In this round, each coach is allowed two "steals," meaning an artist who loses a face-off may be stolen by a different coach so he or she can resume competing on The Voice.

The three artists stolen in last night's broadcast were Jason Warrior, Lauren Diaz and Courtnie Ramirez.

In the "Battle Round," a coach pairs two of his or her team members up to sing one song simultaneously. The artists must work hard to stand out and deliver a better performance than their opponents.

The night began with Alicia and her team adviser Charlie Puth matching up Christian and Jason for a Battle in which they had to sing "Hello" by Adele.

Although Alicia was completely taken with both of her artists, she chose to advance Christian because he was able to access "a real place" and was "brave enough" to let the audience into his mind and heart. Despite Jason's energy and charisma, Alicia believes Christian has a strong voice and America will fall in love with him.

However, Adam decided to steal Jason because he's very talented and has a lot of potential.

Alicia also paired Lauren and We McDonald for a Battle in which they had to perform "Maybe" by Janis Joplin.

Alicia was so proud of both of her "bonafide artists" but chose to keep We on her team due to her amazing gift and ability to channel her soul in every performance. We's quirky personality is also very endearing.

But the coaches didn't want to see Lauren go. As a result, both Miley and Adam tried to steal her for their teams. Miley said someone so talented shouldn't feel defeated, while Adam insisted he could help unleash "the monster" in Lauren. In the end, the artist chose to join "Team Miley."

In another Battle, Adam -- who is working with Sammy Hagar as his team adviser -- matched Natasha and Riley for a performance of "Cry Me a River" by Michael Buble. Due to Riley's rare sound, which truly stands out in the competition, Adam declared him the winner.

Natasha, daughter of Fuller House actress Candace Cameron Bure, was therefore eliminated from The Voice.

Adam also paired Billy, a former child country star, with Adam DeMuro to sing a riveting rendition of Michael Jackson's "Man In the Mirror." Although Andrew showed tremendous growth and soul, Adam advanced Billy to the "Knockout Round" because the coach believes he can win the show.

Adam DeMuro was therefore ousted from Season 11 of The Voice.

Miley's Battle that was shown on Monday night was between Ali and Courtnie -- who were also guided by their team adviser Joan Jett -- for a performance of "Hit Or Miss."

Miley chose to keep Ali on her team because of her powerhouse voice and style. However, Courtnie wowed with her "rockstar energy," so both Alicia and Blake wanted to steal her for their teams.

Blake said Courtnie is extremely entertaining but struts her stuff like a rooster, which everyone laughed at. Alicia took a more serious approach and told Courtnie her voice is beautiful and raw. After listening to both sides, Courtnie chose to join "Team Alicia."

Blake, whose team adviser is Bette Midler, paired Dan and Sundance for a Battle in which they were asked to sing "Feel Like Making Love" by Bad Company. Blake said Dan surprised him with his level of performance, but at the end of the day, Sundance's voice blew him away.

As a result, Blake chose to advance Sundance to the "Knockout Round," eliminating Dan in the process.
