According to the Los Angeles District Attorney's office, Richards was charged with one count of public intoxication; one count of resisting, obstructing, delaying a peace officer or EMT; and one count of battery upon a peace officer, E! News reported.

Richards, 50, will reportedly be arraigned on June 11 at the Los Angeles Courthouse.

Richards was taken out of the Beverly Hilton Hotel and into custody last month for public intoxication, trespassing, resisting arrest, and battery on a police officer. Insiders had told People they witnessed her getting drunk, aggressive and loud with a bartender and authorities, which ultimately "embarrassed" Richards enough to take matters into her own hands.

During an interview with Dr. Phil that aired on the April 28 episode of his show, Richards expressed remorse for the incidents that led to her arrest.

"I'm a very strong person and I have been sober. I haven't been working a program," she told him, according to E! News. "Living through a season on a show, sometimes it's hard to just get through."

"Kim went to rehab finally because she got arrested, she humiliated her kids and she wants to avoid jail," a source told People of The Real Housewives star around the time her Dr. Phil interview aired. "If the arrest hadn't happened she wouldn't be going to rehab; it would be business as usual. She's in denial that she has a problem."

Back in December 2011, Richards reportedly checked into a rehab facility to deal with her substance abuse issues.
