The New Celebrity Apprentice star Arnold Schwarzenegger "terminated" Vince Neil during the first half of Monday night's two-hour episode on NBC.

The world-famous athlete, actor and former California governor fired the Motley Crue frontman and businessman after his co-ed "Prima" team lost the season's seventh task. Vince was found responsible for his team's loss after coming up with an idea deemed inappropriate and being one of the weaker team members in general.

"I've never been fired in my life. It's very strange, but I think it's been a great experience on The Celebrity Apprentice. I was able to raise a lot of money for my charity Cleveland Clinic [Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health], and I think it will be a gamechanger," Vince said following his ouster.

The episode kicked off with Arnold approaching the two teams with a new task.

At this point in the season, "Arete" featured ESPN sports analyst and former NFL running back Ricky Williams, Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Boy George, American Ninja Warrior host Matt Iseman, former Dancing with the Stars co-host Brooke Burke-Charvet, and retired undefeated American pro boxer Laila Ali.

"Prima" was comprised of Vince, television star and celebrity stylist Carson Kressley, retired American mixed martial artist Chael Sonnen, former pro basketball player and three-time WNBA MVP Lisa Leslie, and The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams.

For the season's seventh task, the teams were required to put together a fun and lively public relations presentation for Lorissa's Kitchen, known for healthy protein snacks made of only natural ingredients. The teams had to come up with an interactive experience for an audience at the beach.

The teams would be judged on audience engagement, brand messaging and creativity of theme concept. The winning team's project manager would earn $50,000 for his or her selected charity.

Brooke stepped up to be project manager for Arete, while Lisa volunteered to lead Prima since she has a background in marketing and advertising.

Once in the boardroom with Arnold's nephew Patrick Schwarzenegger and former The Biggest Loser trainer Bob Harper serving as advisers, Arnold wanted to discuss the teams' strengths and weaknesses in the task at hand.

The Lorissa's Kitchen executives liked Arete's "farm-to-table feel" and their setting. Brooke also had a strong connection to the brand as a mother; however, the team could've used the space better due to the fact a wall separated two spaces. The executives called that apparently wedge "a miss."

As for Prima, the executives loved that moms were the focus and Carson was encouraging people to open the brand and sample it. They had a clear and open space for the presentation, but at the same time, it was chaotic and there was a real party atmosphere -- including dancing sexy girls -- that made the PR stunt cheap and off-brand.

In the end, the Arete team won the task, and Brooke received $50k for her Operation Smile charity, which is an organization that provides surgery for children with facial deformities. Brooke said that more than 200 children's lives will change with the money she won.

It soon came to light that Vince came up with the idea for the dancing girls, which the executives thought was inappropriate for children to watch although Vince argued the girls were in the spirit of fitness and health. Chael told Arnold that Lisa had no control of the team and everyone felt doomed from the start with her as the leader. Lisa called Chael a "bullsh-tter" in reply.

Carson explained that Lisa and Chael were equally as weak in the task when it came to its creative flow and being off-brand, but the team agreed Chael never went above and beyond.

Lisa therefore opted to bring Vince and Chael back into the boardroom with her. Arnold said Chael gives 100% in the boardroom but does not carry that attitude and determination into the tasks. Lisa added that Chael doesn't communicate well with his team until he fights for his place to stay.

Just as it appeared Arnold was going to fire Chael, Vince spoke up and said he should be fired based on his own performance in the task. Vince basically took the blame for creative mistakes.

Arnold told Vince that he fell on his own sword and was weak in the task, so he needed to be "terminated."
