Audrina Patridge said from her perspective, MTV's The Hills docu-reality series isn't scripted.

"Everything is real," Patridge told People Hpnotiq's Hollywood Halloween Party at Les Deux earlier this week.  "[Lauren 'L.C.' Conrad] and me are real friends.  We live in our apartment. That's real, like where we work, everything. The situations are real."

But Patridge added the fact that The Hills stars seem to love to party at Les Deux -- a trendy Los Angeles nightclub -- is the product of a nudge from producers.

"I mean, [the producers] might be kinda like, 'Okay, we want you to go to Les Deux tonight,' so we go and whatever happens, happens," Patridge told People. "And they might do things to tweak it a little bit, but our reactions... it's totally real. It's reality."

While Patridge may claim the situations are real, the 22-year-old apparently wouldn't have been reunited with her current beau Justin Brescia if it wasn't for The Hills.

"When producers encouraged [Patridge] to start dating again for the show, she called Justin," said a "pal" in In Touch Weekly's October 29 issue.  "But it's not about the show anymore."

The romantic relationship between engaged The Hills couple Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt is also apparently really real.

"Their feelings for each other are genuine," a "friend" of the couple told In Touch.

That friend presumably wasn't Brody Jenner, who recently reappeared on The Hills third-season as Conrad's object of affection.  An "insider" told In Touch that Pratt was "furious" when Jenner began to hang-out with Conrad -- who if you haven't heard -- is currently feuding with Montag.

"It's not a publicity stunt, it's legit," Jenner told In Touch about his feud with Pratt.  "But I wish him nothing but the best."

There will reportedly be no well-wishing between Montag and Conrad anytime soon as the pair is preparing for a big blowout, which doesn't sound very unscripted.

"They're gearing up for the catfights to end all catfights," an insider told In Touch.  "Their confrontation will be on the season finale and it's going to be huge."

Conrad admitted producers may "hype up" The Hills drama, however she echoed Patridge's comments that the cast members aren't playing characters.

"At the end of the day, you can edit all you want, but you said and did everything that's on the show," Conrad told In Touch.  "If you're a nice person, you're going to look like a nice person.  If you're a mean person, you're gonna look mean."
