"I can tell you that it has a very happy ending," Gerry shared during the November 21 episode of the "Life is Short with Justin Long" podcast.

Gerry, 72, only has two bachelorettes left in the running for his heart: Leslie, a 64-year-old fitness instructor from Minneapolis, MN, and Theresa, a 69-year-old financial services professional from Shrewsbury, NJ.

Gerry has said, "I love you," to both women, and a preview of the finale shows Gerry looking at an engagement ring and agonizing over having to break someone's heart. At one point, Gerry even cries to host Jesse Palmer that he may have made a "mistake."

But according to Gerry, he has no regrets and The Golden Bachelor ended exactly the way it was supposed to.

"I enjoy how it ends," Gerry told actor Justin Long. "I'm completely comfortable with the way it ended. I have no second guesses. It's perfect!"

Gerry insisted that the woman he chose is his perfect match, even though he had developed feelings of love for multiple women.

"When I was down to three women [including Faith Martin] and I had genuine connections with them, you know, I loved them in my own way," Gerry said.

"[But] it's important to remember that when I got to the end of the journey, I did find the one person who was right for me. Yes, there was a lot of pain and a lot of sorrow, but I had to constantly remind myself, 'This is my own journey, and I need to get to that final goal -- the right one -- for me.'"

During a recent interview with his local Indianapolis Star newspaper, Gerry revealed he's still with his winning bachelorette.

"I picked the greatest woman in the world," Gerry gushed.

And Gerry said he's in a much better place, mentally and emotionally, than he had been prior to signing up for The Golden Bachelor.

"I'm happier today, by far," Gerry admitted.

"There's so much more opportunity and I've gotten to know so many great people. I've had great experiences; and my family has had great experiences along with me that they would have never been afforded."

The Golden Bachelor star reiterated how "so many positive things" have happened to him since agreeing to be the senior spinoff's star.

Gerry also recently confirmed on Jimmy Kimmel Live, "Yeah, [I'm in love]. Yes."

Show host Jimmy Kimmel joked about how Gerry probably wasn't supposed to give that away, and so Gerry played coy and quipped, "But I didn't say with whom, you know, I love my daughters."

Back in September, Gerry seemed thrilled about his life and relationship status during an appearance on Good Morning America.

When asked if he's in love, Gerry replied with a huge smile on his face, "Well, if I didn't, would I be sitting here smiling from ear to ear?! I can't tell you I did, though."
