The Bachelorette star Tayshia Adams has revealed she fell in love with multiple men while filming the show's 2020 season.

When Entertainment Tonight asked how many times Tayshia said "I love you" on her season, Tayshia replied in a recent video interview, "I say it multiple times."

Tayshia admitted she fell for "way more" guys than she thought she would, but she dodged questions about whether she professed her love to more than just one guy.

"I didn't know it was possible to fall in love with multiple people, but when you just really lean into the journey and really be vulnerable, you never know what can happen. And it happened to me," Tayshia shared.

Tayshia also revealed she's "happy" after filming the show with the right intentions and an open heart and she's "possibly" engaged and in love right now.

Tayshia told ET that she couldn't believe when the show had reached out to her to star on The Bachelorette's sixteenth season because she had that conversation "multiple times" and had been repeatedly rejected.

"I kind of wrote it off at this point," Tayshia admitted. "And so when I did get the phone call, I was like, 'Hold on, what?! I was shocked -- and obviously really excited."

"I was in quarantine within 48 hours of that phone call," Tayshia added, although she declined to reveal for how many days she had quarantined before stepping out of the limo.

"It happened like a flash," she noted.

Tayshia confirmed, however, her time on the show "lasted a few more weeks" than Clare's journey to find love. RELATED LINK: 'THE BACHELOR' FRANCHISE COUPLES NOW: WHO IS STILL TOGETHER?? (PHOTOS)

"You just really see the men... And the guys are incredible," Tayshia teased of what's to come. "But they did make me cry and there are a lot of fun dates and a lot of twists and turns. It's a really good season."

Tayshia said she had looked up the original cast of guys that was initially announced for Clare back in March but she never checked back and looked at guys after that point.

(A revised list of 42 men was released by ABC in July, and then after quarantine and COVID-19 testing, 31 guys actually appeared on Clare's season and got to date her.)

"I was really happy [I didn't do research], because I didn't really know what I was walking into. I had forgotten about everybody at that point," Tayshia said.

Tayshia, a former phlebotomist from Orange County, CA, took over for Clare on The Bachelorette's sixteenth season after Clare fell hard and fast for Dale Moss and decided to quit the show prematurely in order to pursue a relationship with him.

After Clare and Dale got engaged and left the show together, Tayshia stepped in to date Clare's 16 remaining men. On Tayshia's first night as the Bachelorette, she also got introduced to four new suitors whom Clare had never met.

Tayshia said her guys were "real, open, vulnerable" and very invested in the process and so breaking up with them along the way was "the hardest part" of her journey and resulted in her crying by the side of the road at one point, which was shown in a recent trailer released for the rest of the season.

"It's harder than I had imagined," Tayshia noted. "It's a really intense journey to find the love of your life."

Going into the next The Bachelorette episode, Tayshia still has 19 men to choose from after Jason Foster decided to leave the show due to his lingering feelings for Clare.

Reality Steve spoiler blogger Steve Carbone reported in September producers had planned all along for Tayshia to replace Clare at some point in the season and the women's storyline was pre-meditated; however, ABC executive Robert Mills has denied that's the case.

When asked whether the Clare and Tayshia switch-up was made-for-TV, Robert told Variety in a recent interview, "It is insane. You just think, 'Oh my gosh, I swear we didn't plan this.'"

"There really wasn't the luxury of time, so it was really instinctual," he said, adding that the guys had "checked out" from dating Clare about three episodes into the season and so producers reached out to Tayshia.

Tayshia first appeared on Colton Underwood's season of The Bachelor and was eliminated during his round of overnight Fantasy Suite dates.

Tayshia was widely reported to be a frontrunner to star on The Bachelorette's fifteenth season last year, but the position ultimately went to Hannah Brown.

Tayshia therefore appeared on the 2019 edition of Bachelor in Paradise, where she fell in love with John Paul Jones but dumped him before the season concluded.

While the couple briefly reconciled and began dating in the real world after leaving Paradise, Tayshia and John Paul ultimately split in October 2019.

Just days before Clare was announced as The Bachelorette's Season 16 leading lady, Tayshia admitted to ET that she would be "ready" for the gig.

"I have to say, anything that comes my way, I am ready for," Tayshia shared in late February. "I am ready for love!"
