The Bachelorette star Charity Lawson will begin her search for love with 25 men to choose from, as ABC has officially announced the cast of bachelors who will compete for Charity's heart on Season 20 of the reality dating show.

Charity already wrapped production of her season of The Bachelorette, which will premiere on ABC in its new slightly later new time period on Monday, June 26 at 9PM ET/PT, earlier this spring.

Charity, a child and family therapist from Columbus, GA who has a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Auburn University, originally competed for Zach Shallcross' heart on Season 27 of The Bachelor earlier this year.

She finished in fourth place on Zach's The Bachelor season and was announced as The Bachelorette's Season 20 star on The Bachelor season's The Women Tell All special when it aired on ABC in March.

Charity and their group of bachelors, who range in age from 24 to 33 years old, began filming their The Bachelorette season in later that same month, shortly after the network had announced a group of 29 men who would potentially be part of the season's cast.

The four men ABC appears to have dropped from the original lineup of potential bachelors are Brandon Wallace, a 35-year-old from Los Angeles, CA; Chris Blackman, a 38-year-old from Whitby, ON; Demarcus Gresham, a 28-year-old from Los Angeles, CA; and Steve Cole, a 26-year-old from Santa Monica, CA.

ABC began its current practice of publicly announcing each The Bachelor and The Bachelorette season's possible cast in 2019 as an apparent attempt to use social media to further vet each suitor's background before filming began.

Beginning in 2020 with Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams' season of The Bachelorette, they also began bringing extra potential bachelors to the season's initial filming location in case anyone tested positive for coronavirus during the quarantine period that occurred before production officially commenced.

Last month, Charity discussed her upcoming The Bachelorette season during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show -- including how she is only the fourth woman of color and second monoracial African American woman to ever be the Bachelorette.

"It's bigger than me... and I'm honored to hold that representation for other people at home that look like me -- little girls and women of color who can look up to me and acknowledge that this is something that's possible for them too," Charity said on the show's May 11 episode.
