The Bachelorette couple Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried have revealed whether they have a baby boy or girl on the way.

Desiree and Chris announced their baby's gender on Sunday by posting a video of their 21-month-old son, Asher, biting into a cupcake with blue frosting inside.

"It's a...... BOY!!!!!!!" Desiree, 32, captioned the video on her Instagram page.
"Asher's face is priceless! And we are beyond excited to have another baby boy join our family! Can't even believe we're already half way there to meeting him. Our hearts are so full right now."

In the video clip, The Bachelorette's ninth-season couple cheered and shared a sweet little kiss, after which Desiree gushed, "I'm going to cry!"
Desiree and Chris announced in July they're expecting their second child together.
Desiree told Us Weekly at the time she could picture Chris and herself having even more than two children, however, they'll cross that bridge when the time comes.
"We might be okay at two, but you need an army with more kids!" the bridal gown designer exclaimed.

The baby boy is due to arrive in January 2019, around the time of the pair's four-year wedding anniversary.
Chris proposed marriage to Desiree during The Bachelorette's Season 9 finale, which filmed back in May 2013 and aired three months later on ABC.
The show's star selected the former pro baseball player over runner-up Drew Kenney after getting over the heartbreak of frontrunner Brooks Forester unexpectedly dumping her.
Chris and Desiree got married in January 2015 and then welcomed Asher into the world in October 2016.
The couple will appear on the new season of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars which premieres on WE tv on September 7.
