The Bachelor bachelorette Elizabeth Corrigan has clapped back at Shanae Ankney and is teaching her a lesson after Shanae doubted her struggle with ADHD and the girls got into an argument on Season 26.

Mental illness became a storyline on Monday night's episode of The Bachelor when Elizabeth shared she has ADHD to help explain why she may have been unable to focus on and listen to Shanae, who had accused Elizabeth of being "two-faced" by posing as her friend one night and then ignoring her the next day.

However, Shanae, 29, proceeded to call Elizabeth "fake" and made comments such as, "ADHD my ass."

Elizabeth therefore took to TikTok on Monday and posted a video advising people what to do when someone tells you they battle a mental illness.

As "Super Rich Kids" by Frank Ocean song played in the background, Elizabeth pointed at five different text captions that flashed across the screen.

"Acknowledge what they shared," Elizabeth, 32, began.

"Thank them for their vulnerability. Understand that you do not understand. NEVER weaponize it."

And the final piece of advice Elizabeth gave her followers was, "BE A GOOD PERSON!!"

When Elizabeth uploaded her video, she also wrote, "It's okay to not be okay."

On The Bachelor's latest episode, Shanae, seemingly feeling threatened by Elizabeth's connection with Clayton Echard during a group date, told Clayton that Elizabeth was "two-faced" and didn't appear to be on the show "for the right reasons."

"It's a competition. I want to win," Shanae explained in a confessional after throwing Elizabeth under the bus.

Clayton immediately addressed the issue with Elizabeth, who was shocked to hear Shanae had also called her "a red flag."

Elizabeth insisted she had never intentionally changed her demeanor towards Shanae, even though Shanae had forcefully pushed her during the obstacle course earlier in the day. Elizabeth told Clayton that she was absolutely being sincere.

When Elizabeth subsequently confronted Shanae about the gossip, Shanae accused Elizabeth of being "a mean girl" and not acknowledging her.

"It's really hard for me to have multiple auditory inputs because I can't process the information," Elizabeth shared with Shanae in private.

"I have ADHD. I've had it really bad since I was a kid. Like, I was probably just really trying to concentrate on what [Ency Abedin] was trying to say to me, and maybe you had said something in the middle of her saying something and I just, I can't, like, hear it."

Elizabeth sweetly added, "I don't want you to feel hurt. I 100 percent validate you as a person and would love to move forward."

After the pair hashed out their issues, Elizabeth confided in some of the other women about how her dynamic with Clayton may have changed due to Shanae's allegations, which prompted Shanae to clap back at Elizabeth for "dogging" her behind her back.

"You're sorry and you 'love' me but then you forgot you have ADHD," Shanae griped.

"The other girls don't know the real story and they're still looking at me like 'poor Elizabeth.' No poor f-cking Shanae because she's lying about me to everyone and making me look bad!"

Shanae asked Elizabeth if her ADHD was the problem or if Elizabeth viewed her as the problem, and Elizabeth admitted her language and approach to settling their dispute was "really inappropriate."

Shanae said Elizabeth seemed to be using her ADHD as an excuse, adding, "I have ADHD too!"

Elizabeth ended the conversation prematurely because she didn't want to discuss her mental health, and Elizabeth went on to laugh about Elizabeth's disorder and question its validity again.

Shanae then vented her frustrations to the other women, many of whom sided with Elizabeth and thought Shanae was out of line for openly talking about Elizabeth's personal ADHD battle when it wasn't Shanae's business.

"You did share some information with the group that wasn't yours to share," Elizabeth told Shanae. "And that felt really violating to me, so I would really appreciate an apology for that."

Elizabeth offered a flippant apology and the cast agreed Shanae needed to cut her losses in order to not derail the evening given the season's second Rose Ceremony was about to commence.
