The Bachelor couple Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson have revealed why they decided to move to New York City as well as their big travel plans for this year.

"I've obviously just been staying at my sister's place, so I'm the one that's moving right now," Joey shared during Part 1 of his joint interview with Kelsey on the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast that was released on March 26.

"I'm going to New Orleans for a little bit; we'll be there for the beginning part of summer. But the end goal is we want to get to New York. We're thinking July or August is when we're trying to get there because she's finishing up her lease."

Joey noted, "But New York City is 100 percent the move, and we're excited about it."

Kelsey and Joey simultaneously gushed, "We cannot wait!"

It was apparently Kelsey's idea for the both of them to relocate to a new city together.

"I've always wanted to live there and Joey is supporting me in that," Kelsey told People in a separate interview.

"We're young and I think now is the time to live in a tiny, cramped apartment together and experience it. Even if we hate it, at least we can say we did it."

Joey acknowledged that he thinks "it's going to be fun" living in the Big Apple.

"Anyone that knows me personally knows that beach, warm weather, all of that has been my vibe. I lived in Hawaii, but I've really come to love New York from the time I spent there," Joey explained, mainly referring to press he had to do in New York for the show.

"It does have a different feel. I've never lived in a big city. My family lives in Philly area and I have close friends [there], so the idea of being close to them finally is going to be great. I think it is the right time to do it, so we're excited."

The newly-engaged pair said they envision themselves spending "a year or two" in New York before putting roots down somewhere else.

After all, Joey and Kelsey said they'd like to have a long engagement and get married two or three years from now.

During Part 2 of Joey and Kelsey's "Bachelor Happy Hour" interview that was released on March 27, Joey revealed that he and Kelsey had considered moving to the West Coast "for a little bit" but after traveling back and forth from Los Angeles to New York, he prefers the East Coast.

"I had so much more fun doing press when we were in New York. It's just the food, the atmosphere and the energy!... It's going to be a good time!" Joey gushed.

But Joey and Kelsey will be spreading their wings even farther, as they also have some international traveling planned for this year.

"We found out that we have a lot of weddings we've gotten invited to this year," Joey revealed on the podcast.

"I've got a couple of buddies who are getting married, and one of the cool places is my buddy is getting married in Portugal. So we're going to be heading up there, which will be really fun."

Joey also has his heart set on taking Kelsey to Hawaii, where he previously lived and worked as a tennis pro.

"I want to show her around, but the cool thing is we're jumping on a trip with [Zach Shallcross] and [Kaity Biggar] as well. So that one will be in May," Joey said of the Season 27 The Bachelor couple.

While Joey is already friends with Zach, Kelsey gushed about how she's been FaceTiming with Kaity recently and "can't wait" to hang out with her in person.

"So we have Hawaii and Portugal and then a few other [trips] going around the [United] States to different things we've talked about, which should be fun," Joey teased.

During The Bachelor: After the Final Rose special that aired on March 25, Kelsey and Joey were also gifted a trip back to Jasper, Canada, where they were falling in love.

Joey and Kelsey did not mention when they intend to return to Canada, but Joey gushed of his fiancee on the live special, "I now have my 'forever,' and I'm the luckiest guy there could be... I don't know how I'm going to have a boring day of life with her by my side."

Joey proposed marriage to Kelsey during the Final Rose Ceremony in Tulum, Mexico.

Prior to their big moment, Joey and his The Bachelor runner-up Daisy Kent mutually broke up with each other.

Daisy had predicted during her final date with Joey in Mexico that she was not his "person" and vice versa, and so she gracefully bowed out of the Season 28 competition and congratulated both Joey and Kelsey on their love.
