The Bachelor couple Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson have detailed how long they'd like to remain engaged and when they can see themselves getting married.

Joey and Kelsey got engaged on The Bachelor's Season 28 finale, which aired Monday night on ABC, and they're still together and growing in love.

While Joey and Kelsey said they'll be moving in together in New York City this summer, that doesn't mean they're in a hurry to exchange vows.

"We want to promise our lives together, but we don't want to rush it," Joey, 28, told People in a joint interview with Kelsey, 25.

"It's time now to enjoy this. We have the rest of our lives to celebrate it. We're going to take it day by day and just enjoy this time."

Kelsey predicted that she and Joey will be engaged for two or three years before she walks down the aisle.

"We have no interest in putting it off, we just don't want to rush through it," Joey explained. "We want it to be something that feels special together."

And Kelsey admitted that she doesn't even have a specific state in mind for their wedding, let alone a venue or theme.

"I honestly don't know what I want my wedding to look like," Kelsey shared. "I definitely want all my close friends and family there. I think I want a very timeless wedding, but where? Not sure. I guess we're going to have to figure that out."

Luckily, the couple will have ample time to talk things over, and Joey noted how he's "sure more ideas will come" to them.

But just because the couple isn't ready to wed, it doesn't mean they're not ready to celebrate their love.

Joey and Kelsey will be the guests of honor at an engagement party this summer in New Orleans, where Kelsey and her family live.

"I'm excited to celebrate our love and for everyone to meet Joey," Kelsey gushed.

Kelsey and Joey are also looking forward to daily life together and doing activities as an engaged couple.

"We have a shared note [of activities we'd like to do] and we both add to it," Kelsey told the magazine.

"There's dance classes, pottery classes, grocery shopping -- little things together and the big things. I'm just excited to do life together and just run to the store together."

Joey added how he can't wait to travel and "see the world" with his new fiancee. He also can't wait to "just be a normal couple" because they haven't gotten the chance to go out in public together yet.

During the happy couple's March 26 appearance on the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast, Joey and Kelsey also touched upon their timeline for tying the knot.

"We would like a longer engagement," Kelsey told the podcast's co-hosts Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt.

"We don't want to feel stressed, hurrying up and planning a big wedding or whatever it is. I think we need to figure out where we even want to have it because we both live in different places and are from different places."

Kelsey reiterated how she and Joey want to "focus" on themselves and "then start planning," adding, "We don't want too much stress with that."

Joey, however, insisted that he and his fiancee are "in a great spot to enjoy this engagement," and neither of them feel the need to check off boxes and rush things along.

"But the cool part is if we have a longer engagement, that gives us more time... to think through the fun things," Joey reasoned.

"As Kelsey has said, we don't even know what a wedding would look like. We haven't thought through that much. We have time and we're excited for it."

Joey said it's like he and Kelsey are starting to date "all over again," given their romance is no longer in The Bachelor bubble.

"We want to strengthen this relationship. However strong it already feels, we want to make it even better. So that's our focus for now, and we have time for the rest," Joey concluded.

Joey's idea of having a two-to-three year engagement is exactly what he had told Lexi Young, who quit The Bachelor mid-season because she wanted to get married and have children much sooner.

Joey proposed marriage to Kelsey on The Bachelor finale after his runner-up, Daisy Kent, predicted that Joey was going to dump her and she bowed out of the competition gracefully during the Final Rose Ceremony in Tulum, Mexico.

"Falling in love with you has been so fun and I do love you," Daisy told The Bachelor star. "But the thing is, you're not going to choose me."

Joey immediately broke down into tears, confirming that Daisy's gut instinct was correct.

"I know that you know I'm not your person," Daisy said. "And as much as that hurts, umm, I know you said you want what's best for me, and so I'm going to do what's best for me -- and I'm going to go."

Joey proceeded to reunite with Kelsey at the Final Rose Ceremony.

"I love you," Joey gushed. "There is something about you. You have this infectious energy that makes me smile. It's a feeling I've never had before. I know during this time that we've built a very strong flame, and the only reason I know why that flame will never go out is because you're my light."

"I have known for a while that I've wanted to have a beautiful life, but I truly didn't know how beautiful that life could be until I met you," Joey told his winner.

"I love you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?"

And Kelsey said, "Yes!"

During the live After the Final Rose special, Kelsey and Joey were gifted a trip to Jasper, Canada, and Joey gushed of his fiancee, "I now have my 'forever,' and I'm the luckiest guy there could be... I don't know how I'm going to have a boring day of life with her by my side."
