Siobhan Allgood the eighth contestant cut from 'Hell's Kitchen'

Siobhan Allgood's lack of experience and inability to stand up for herself was finally the tipping point for Gordon Ramsay.


The 25-year-old pub executive chef from Rockledge, PA who currently resides in Philadelphia, PA became the eighth contestant eliminated from Hell's Kitchen's seventh season during Tuesday night's broadcast of the culinary competition series.

"I'm definitely leaving Hell's Kitchen with a lot of confidence and I'm very proud to at least have gotten this far," said Siobhan after her ouster.

"To take this experience and learn so much from it is priceless. All in all, I stayed professional, I stayed true to myself, and I was brave and fearless the entire way through."

Hell's Kitchen's eighth seventh-season episode began following the previous elimination of Salvatore Coppola, who was ousted by Gordon even though the Blue Team won the dinner service.


Siobhan was still upset that Benjamin Knack, a 33-year-old culinary instructor from Elmont, NY who currently resides in Malden, MA, questioned her passion in the kitchen and subsequently nominated her for elimination.

"I wouldn't be sitting here if I didn't have f--ling passion. So he can go f--k himself!" she said in a confessional.

"Ben, wait until that next challenge. You haven't seen that fire in my eyes? Well guess what? Next time I'll cook your ass under the table and I'll prove to you that I'm a good cook."

Benjamin continued to throw Siobhan under the bus to the other contestants, and Holli Ugalde, a 24-year-old banquet chef from San Bernardino, C, accused him of being "so negative."

The next morning, the nine remaining contestants learned that Gordon would be taking them on a field trip to a famous French restaurant. They subsequently arrived at Philippe, which served French-dipped sandwiches, and Gordon laughed at the contestants for being over-dressed.


Richard Binder, Philippe's owner, explained to the contestants where the French-dipped sandwich came from. They also all enjoyed a sandwich.

Gordon then revealed that for their next challenge, the contestants would have 30 minutes once they returned to the kitchen to create a gourmet sandwich. The contestants also received the list of ingredients they could use.

The challenge commenced and Benjamin and Siobhan continued to bicker. In the Blue kitchen, all the contestants worked hard to make the most original sandwiches they could.

The challenge ended and since the Red Team had one more member, Gordon asked them to decide who had the worst sandwich. He gave them 30 seconds to decide. Benjamin immediately nominated Siobhan, but she wouldn't budge. Unfortunately for her, the other Red Team members agreed and her sandwich was out.

Benjamin faced Ed Battaglia, a 28-year-old high school cooking teacher from Burlington, NJ who currently resides in Edgewater Park, NJ, in the first round. Benjamin made a pan-seared ahi sandwich while Ed presented a grilled ahi open-faced sandwich. Gordon liked them both and gave both points.


Holli squared off against Jason Ellis, a 37-year-old personal chef from Greenville, SC who currently resides in Suwanee, GA, in the next round. She presented smoked duck breast, while he made lobster coalslaw sloppy Joe. Again, Gordon liked both and awarded both a point.

Fran Klier, a 44-year-old catering chef from Rockville Centre, NY, faced Jay Santos, a 32-year-old executive chef from Melrose, MA who currently resides in Medford, MA, in the next round. She made balsamic chicken with roasted peppers while he presented country-pork. Gordon liked both, but said Fran had soggy bread -- giving the Blue Team the point and a 3-2 lead.

Nilka Hendricks, a 28-year-old line cook from Glen Cove, NY who currently resides in West Hempstead, NY, squared off against Autumn Lewis, a 29-year-old personal chef from Chicago, IL who currently resides in North Hollywood, CA, in the next round. Both made roasted pork, however Gordon didn't like Autumn's presentation and gave Nilka the point -- tying the score at three.

Gordon had to break the tie and asked to taste Siobhan's ahi tuna sandwich.

"I actually prefer that to Fran," said Gordon. "Red Team, you should have sent Siobhan's dish instead of Fran's. For that, Blue Team, you win."


For their punishment, the Red Team would be making peanut butter and jelly from scratch for a special dish at the upcoming dinner service. For their reward, the Blue Team would be taking a private jet to California's central wine country.

Siobhan continued to pout about her team's decision to not include her sandwich, and Benjamin tried to talk to her -- however it was not exactly a positive conversation.

"You don't have the experience that I have," he said. "I'm purely confident in my decision."

Siobhan fumed about Benjamin being a "bossy bastard."

"They all think they're better than me," she said. " F--k them!"


The Blue Team was drunk upon their return to the dorms, and Ed eventually got naked in the hot tub after some goading from Holli. Not surprisingly, the Blue Team was incredibly hungover the next morning and the Red Team was hoping it would affect them at the night's dinner service.

"We are finally going to kick their ass," promised Fran.

The Blue Team struggled with their prep work, which wasn't a good sign for the upcoming service.

"I think we do have a little edge on the Blue Team," said Benjamin. "I would like to send them a message that they're not untouchable. If we all cook the best we can, we can win tonight."

The dinner service then commenced, and Holli was immediately worried about Fran on the appetizer station. However Gordon liked her risotto, and the Red Team got off to a good start.

Communication was instantly lacking in the Blue kitchen, and Gordon criticized Jason's scallops for being overcooked and Jay's risotto for being raw.


"We did get off to a rough start," said Jason.

Fran's second attempt at risotto was raw, and Gordon let her know about it and also pointed out her lack on consistency. The Blue Team overcame their communication problems and pushed all their appetizers out. As they began to work on entrees, Gordon was upset that Autumn was moving so slow on the garnish station. Once her potatoes were sent to the pass, he thought they were salty.

Siobhan struggled with the scallops and told Gordon she thought they looked "golden brown." However he thought they were burnt. She only made it worse by talking back.

"You've got the nerve to tell me that some of them are fine," he said. "You donkey! Get out!"

Siobhan went to the dining room, where she was forced to eat the burnt scallops. Benjamin took over her station and Siobhan returned and admitted to her mistakes. She wanted to return to the fish station, however Benjamin sent her to desserts.

"Benjamin pushed me out of my station and I was really pissed off," she opined. "He has no respect for people."


One customer got in an argument with Gordon when he tried to personally return book that was undercooked. Gordon took care of him quickly and re-focused on the Red Team's chicken from Nilka. It was raw, and he was even more upset that it was sent to the pass without it being noticed.

The Blue Team was a bit slow on sending its beef to the pass, and Autumn was making matters worse because she was slow with the garnish.

"We had no communication. It was absolutely terrible," said Ed.

Gordon was upset that the Blue Team couldn't come together, and Ed's duck was raw.

"It's not good enough guys!" yelled Gordon.

He then threw the Blue Team out of the kitchen, and Jay knew that they deserved their fate since the performance wasn't good enough.


In the Red kitchen, Fran's salad didn't have any dressing on it. Her risotto was also once again raw. Gordon then threw the Red Team out of the kitchen.

"It was a cluster f--k is what it was," said Fran.

Both teams lamented their fate in the dorms as the dinner service came to a close.

Siobhan quickly admitted that she "f--ked up" by trying to take on too many responsibilities at once. Nilka admitted to undercooking the chicken. Fran owned up to her poor performance with appetizers.

"I have had enough," said Gordon, refusing to name a winning team. "The Blue Team and the Red Team, come up with two individuals and think who is going to be leaving Hell's Kitchen."

The Blue Team quickly singled out Autumn for various little mistakes, while Ed knew his poor performance could also cost him as he began to pack. Benjamin again singled out Siobhan on the Red Team, and Nilka pointed out Siobhan and Fran should be nominated. Fran blamed her raw risotto on bad timing and thought Nilka should be nominated with Siobhan.


Back in the kitchen, Jay revealed Autumn and Ed were the Blue Team's two nominations. Benjamin then said Siobhan and Fran were the Red Team's nominees.

Gordon called all four of them forward, and Ed, Autumn and Fran all admitted to their mistakes and claiming they could do better.

"Siobhan, somebody on your team threw you off your section and you allowed it," said Gordon. "Why do you think you should stay here when you can't even say no?"

"Chef, when that happened in the kitchen, I felt that it was for the best of the team," explained Siobhan. "I wasn't from a professional standpoint going to bicker with another teammate. There was no excuse for what I did tonight."

Gordon then kicked Siobhan out, citing her lack of experience.

"Siobhan got pushed around a lot in Hell's Kitchen," said Gordon. "So it was up to me to finally, push her out."


Hell's Kitchen's next seventh-season episode will air Tuesday, July 6 at 8PM ET/PT.
