Sasha Farber and Jenna Johnson will be returning to the Dancing with the Stars ballroom for Season 25, but not as professional partners.

Sasha and Jenna will instead be members of the Dancing with the Stars Troupe next season, according to People.

The show's Troupe dancers typically perform during commercial breaks and big group performances, as well as serve as alternates in case a professional partner gets injured during the season.

Sasha and Jenna will reportedly be joining Brandon Armstrong, Artur Adamski, Britt Stewart and Hayley Erbert in the Dancing with the Stars Troupe.

Sasha and Jenna, however, may be disappointed in their new positions considering they have starred on the show as pro partners before.

Jenna, a current All-Star on So You Think You Can Dance, competed as a pro partner for former Disney star Jake T. Austin on Season 23 in 2016. The pair, however, was the first couple eliminated from the season.

As for Sasha, he is a four-time professional partner who has most recently danced with Little Women: LA star Terra Jole on Season 23 -- when he placed fifth overall -- and Olympic gymnast Simone Biles on Season 24 this past Spring, when he finished in fourth place.

Following an outcry from many Dancing with the Stars fans on social media about Sasha's demotion, he took to Twitter late Monday night and wrote, "I'm very lucky to have such amazing support from my fans!!! I love them all," with numerous heart emojis.

The news follows ABC's August 24 announcement of Dancing with the Stars' official lineup of Season 25 professional partners.

Fan-favorite Mark Ballas will be gracing the ballroom with his presence again after a two-season hiatus to perform in a Broadway show.

Mark will also be joined by Sasha's fiancee Emma Slater, newbie pro Alan Bersten -- who served as a member of the Troupe for multiple seasons -- Keo Motsepe, Artem Chigvintsev, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Val Chmerkovskiy, Gleb Savchenko, Lindsay Arnold, Peta Murgatroyd, Sharna Burgess and Witney Carson.

Entertainment Tonight reported last week that longtime pro Cheryl Burke will also be coming back to Dancing with the Stars after taking one season off.

Several of the celebrities rumored to be competing on Dancing with the Stars this fall are Total Divas star Nikki Bella, Property Brothers star Drew Scott, and married couple Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey. The rest of the celebrity cast will be revealed September 6 on Good Morning America.

Dancing with the Stars' new season is set to premiere Monday, September 18 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
