Netflix is previewing Harlan Coben's upcoming limited series Run Away.
A trailer released Monday shows James Nesbitt's Simon Greene grappling with the disappearance of daughter Paige (Ellie de Lange) after she runs away from home.
Simon encounters Paige in a park, but she bolts, and Simon believes that her boyfriend, Aaron (Thomas Flynn) is "keeping Paige against her will," according to an official synopsis.
As it turns out, a private investigator (Ruth Jones) is also looking for Paige, and Aaron winds up dead.
"As detective Isaac Fagbenle (Alfred Enoch) investigates Aaron['s death and Elena and Simon continue their search, secrets arre revealed that could tear the Greene family apart forever," the description continues.
Minnie Driver also stars in the series, which arrives on the streamer Jan. 1.
"Run Away is an emotional rollercoaster. I think maybe more than any other series we've done, it will keep you off-balance and guessing," Coben told Netflix's Tudum. "You'll think you have the answer several times -- but you don't. Hang on for that last-minute shocker."
