Mark Burnett apparently plans to pitch his new advertiser-friendly reality show to viewers this summer.

Jingles, a CBS reality series that will see contestants concocting commercial ditties for real products, will premiere this summer, The Hollywood Reporter reported Sunday.

CBS ordered eight episodes of the Burnett-created reality series last October, and sources told The Reporter casting and preproduction have commenced.

Each one-hour episode of the tentatively-titled series will follow a team of contestants who are given weekly advertisement-writing assignments before having to perform the catchy campaign they created in-front of studio audience.

Home viewer votes cast following each broadcast will then determine a weekly winner, whose jingle will be used in an actual commercial.

Jingles is executive produced by Burnett, Bank, David Hurwitz and Paul Cockerill.
