During an interview alongside Tyler The Creator and Scott Vener, Williams recounted the stories of his brief encounters with the King of Pop that left him mesmerized.

"I met him two times," Williams said in a brief preview of the Aug. 16 installment of OTHERtone, available on Apple Music. "Talk about mind control. He was a genius."

"He comes in, he's tall, standing there. Two beautiful women walk in, he kisses one -- it's a moment," the "Happy" singer continues. "It ain't no peck, it's a situation," he laughs. "And I'm like 'wow!' He's the king of catching you off guard."

The singer, songwriter and producer went on to mention the second time he heard from the late pop star, who had previously turned down Williams' tracks.

"The [first] meeting was supposed to be for us to meet and talk about music, and the songs that he turned down," Williams recalled. "I don't think he realized that I was going to give those songs to Justin [Timberlake]."

Williams told his audience of two that Jackson called him up while he was working with Timberlake, but that he didn't believe it. "I'm thinking it's one of my friends trying to be funny," he said. "And I heard someone eating popcorn in my ear -- that's how I knew it was him."

"He's just the king! He's the king of trolling," Williams exclaimed. "Like I think he invented it."
